To be honest that sounds like the opinion of someone who is happy with another defeat, looking better doesnt get promotion Our last 4 away games

    Stoke
    Leicester
    Swansea
    Plymouth

1 point, and we played for 60 minutes against a team with 10 men

Sounds like the opinion of someone who is frustrated like a lot of us, but can see were the better side majority of the time, with positives seen that we will get better.....should we have won the 4 games? Without question....but ive a feeling its just going to click & we will do well..... although im not sure if that will happen before January....either that be few more additions or young players realise where were being caught... although might be a little more frustration first

You're mistaken. It's the opinion of someone who can see the progress being made and who understands the course of a season will have its' ups and downs.

For me the lack of a bit of killer instinct up front is what is probably disappointing all of our fans but on the plus side our build up play has been good and it looks like we are almost re learning how to play with a striker. We all know that the team is young and inconsistencies will be the most frustrating thing within that and was something I mentioned on one of the threads way back at the start of the season. There will be more ups and downs to come but I think the second half of the season will see a lot more improvement as new players get up to speed and settle in.
Now is definitely not the time for the fans to berate the players, manager or owners but more a moment where we as fans should show our support and solidarity to help this exciting young team start to fulfill their and our expectations.

Who is berating the players? We are not delivering what we should be, or do you think we are?

I love the style we play, but we need to get the results, Roberts is great to watch but dribbles up a dead end, we need to start getting the wins, and those last away games were shocking. I havnt seen a team better than us this season on skill, but we keep messing it up. What is this throw 3 subs on at once thing? Doesnt seem to be a plan, just rolling the dice

What these arguments always boil down to are whether anyone is accepting defeats ...

... the answer is that we all are.

Saying you don't, on a football chat forum, doesn't actually mean anything.

And putting any of the blame on people who aren't seen to be moaning enough doesn't wash tbh.

Aye, it's a bit of a **** dip in form but as long as we put it right in the next 2 games we are laughing.

There are so many people (not you) who react to single games. 1 win means we are going up, 1 defeat means we are never going up and Mowbray needs sacking. Nothing is won or lost in November (Sheff Wed fans may disagree) and people need to start looking at the broader context of the points we have compared to last season and the strength of the league this year.

You made a great point on the match thread that we no longer have Amad to pull our balls out of the fire (or words to that effect) and it's absolutely correct, but we aren't miles away from competing. I try not to get too high with the wins, or too low with defeats. I thought we were garbage on Saturday, but the stats don't back that up. It's just the frustration of another meek defeat

Every team drops points across the season. Does you demand we win 46 games a season and cry into your cornflakes if we don't?
No-one likes defeats but you have to accept they are part and parcel of football. There's no sense bitching about it, when we are largely heading in the right direction as a club.

We are on course to finish with more points than we did last season. Is that not good enough for you?
