What we are building is 100% what we should be doing. I'm already gutted I'm missing the Huddersfield game through work as I just enjoy watching the lads play decent football.

I have said many times one game it will all click and we will murder a team by a cricket score. I just hope that's a game I am at

This is from the BBC today regarding Burnley,

"It was a devastating result for Burnley. They have now lost seven straight home games ...

... failing to pick up a single point despite scoring first in three of those matches."

Not what I'd want from Sunderland in the PL, Kompany seems bankrupt <laugh>

For me the PL is a closed shop. Unless you're willing to spend ****loads to stay there, you're on a hiding to nothing either on or off the pitch due to VAR
Even with spending your ****ed burnley have spent £100m and are a shambles, mind in the same breath if you spend it wisely you might get the dizzy heights of 17th

Needs to force a change otherwise mid table will the best we get.
I think Roberts needs taken out for a couple of games don't get me wrong he's an unbelievable footballer, however he's bringing nothing in the way of end product.
Not sure of his stats but for all his fantastic play what positives has he brought this season, he needs to know he has to earn his places not just first name on the team sheet because he's the most talented player

Just had a quick look 0 goals and 1 assist you can nutmeg as many players as you want and do as many step overs as you want but those stats are not good

Totally 100% mate.
He hasn't scored or even had one assist...unless I'm mistaken. We are way better down the left. Maybe Hume needs to do more over lapping but whatever...it needs addressing on our right.

Can you remember the Indiana Jones clip where this git big Arab was facing him and doing all the ninja stuff spinning his two swords.
Indiana just got his gun out and shot him.

Watching us reminds me of that.
We look great with all the intricate passing and dribbles until we lose the ball.
We overcomplicate our game and usually choose a dangerous pass which looks great if it comes off but more often just gifts the ball to the opposition.
When not passing sideways we often pass to whoever has the most opposition players around them.

The opposition usually get the ball and attack. With a couple of passes they are in shooting position. All very quick and nothing flash.

We can often look great but it’s not working so much now.
If we got promoted I dread going up the road to play the Saudi’s. We’re well short of being ready for promotion. Next year maybe.

Lost 7 league games already this season, 8 if you include the League Cup defeat to Crewe. We only lost 13 league games last season. Something needs to change.
Pretty sure we're better off points wise this season than we were last. Fewer draws

We do not create chances for the strikers we have. Thats pretty much a fact. It's all well and good creating chances for midfielders or wingers but we aren't creating for the striker so why would a proven striker make a difference?
Rusyn missed two in first ten minutes. The first one was easy if he'd hit it first time. Mayenda was in one on one so that's three good chances off top of head

Plymouth had 2 shots on target, and scored 2 goals. We had 8 and scored no goals. Unfortunately all the pretty football in the world makes zero difference. We need a forward that is clinical.

We lost a game of football imo thought it just one of those games kept going till the end ,didn't give up ,had a few chances just wasn't our day , win midweek and there be a different feel . I still think we will make the playoffs.
I used to get so ****ing annoyed when we lost but not now. Not with this team. We lost but dominated the game and played good football. Folk need to accept we aren't a Leicester or Leeds or Southampton who have ready-made players and expect promotion. We are a work in progress and are trying to build something sustainable and exciting for future. Mayenda is 18 ffs and Jamie vary is an England International getting paid 100k a week. We need to suck up afternoons like today.

None of them are clean chances created through clearly coached patterns of play though. It's as if Mowbray says pass to Clarke/Roberts and see what happens. All the top teams in this division create handfuls of chances every single game for their striker, we create a couple of half chances.
