I must have imagine Pilks just miss getting on the end of the ball running across the mouth of your open goal ,like I said had he been a foot further forward in all likelihood that would have been in. I never claimed it was necessarily an even match but it doesn't have to be look at the Liverpool match we SHOULD have been twatted there and we weren't.
slightly controversial but i have to say i thought we were totally outclassed on saturday. not because of how good arsenal were, though they were good, but because of how poor we played. it could easily have finished 4 or 5-1; equally, had pilks netted it could have finished 2-2! if we play as poorly next weekend i have no doubt in my mind we will get turned over. we need to start to defend better and cut out the daft mistakes. almost all the goals we have conceded this term have been due to our own failings. its not very often we can say that we were defenceless to a belter from 25 yards or a great piece of skill - its all down to mistakes. yes we have improved from last season but so too have rangers. it was a tough game last year and will be tough once again - if we are not at the races like saturday we will lose. improvement is needed
