Am I correct in thinking Bethan is Mrs Rumney and has an Irish father in law?

100% correct there Frankfurter. In fact when I first met Mrs Irish, Rumney’s mum, 24 years ago, Rumney was in fact a Manchester United fan. I soon showed him the errors of his ways!
Bethan is mad about the Bluebirds so she soon got our approval.
