As you’ve brought it up. Some observations on Luton game. Had last few minutes on radio. Minnows celebrating a home draw against Liverpool. Shows exactly the imbalance in that league. They’ll likely lose a handful of games in a row and that point may or may not keep them fourth from bottom at end of season. What a target to have. We spent two seasons at exact same. Boring. As for coverage on sky etc. 90% of discussions are now based purely on wrong var decisions. They spent two weeks banging on about the Liverpool one and next two weeks will be spent moaning about the Arsenal one. Again boring. In my books if I’ve a choice of watching Leeds play in a classic game away to leaders and beating them or scrapping with the likes of Liverpool to try get a point, ultimate aim to try muster 36 points by end of season to hang on making up numbers in the pl, then it’s a no brainer for me there are millions of football fans who spend their lives supporting teams outside the top flight and with little or no chance of ever getting to it but they can still enjoy and love their football and clubs and can’t have a proper affinity with their players rather than the crap fans in pl are subjected to
Come on it's brilliant watching Man U struggle year after year <laugh>

Yes mate totally agree and there is the cost it is robbery. Tickets/food/drinks it's extortion and shameless at that. Non league is honest and affordable plus the players are their to talk to.
I will still go to the odd game at Elland rd but i refuse to pander the over paid rats who jump ship. You can add Gnonto to that list as well.. Sell him.

It is but they didn’t bloody struggle against us and the games against them pi***d me off more than any other games we played in that. And reading fans in social media deluded believing 4-1 defeats were a measure of how we’d joined the big time
Well we did go 2-0 at Old Toilet but had to settle for a draw in the end and then there was the decent 0-0 at home in our first season back up.

For some reason you only seem to remember our defeats.

Non League is great but the richest teams still end up at the top and Wakefield have been storming through the Leagues because of exactly that.

Remember them all and most were embarassing Jammy particularly when the opposition were at their worst for two decades. In fact we played them eight times. Aggregate score was 25-8 with us managing two draws. Need I say more

That's where we're different then as whilst obviously all our defeats were painful at the time I'd now struggle to remember the scorlines of most of them.

Can't believe you've included the pre season meetings

In all honesty I googled our results against the big five and I won’t display the results. Basically same as the Man U stuff. Awful. We tend to remember the odd result we got but mainly because there really were so few

I'd like an upgrade on Coops rather than waiting until the end of the season. Great servant but best days gone. Ayling almost in the same boat.
This is exactly why I say we are better than last season. In Ayling and Cooper who were both first choice last season but behind kids in the pecking order now. 17yo Archie Gray, 23yo Shaks, 21yo Spence are ahead of Ayling and Struijk ahead of Cooper and would say Cresswell is ahead of Cooper too. Last season when Struijk was picked it was at LB or LM only playing LCB when Cooper injured. Ampadue is the closest we have to Kalvin Phillips and would walk into last seasons starting 11
