Much as I dislike Spuds, Big Ange seems like a good bloke, refusing to have a go at refs but highlighting that the forensic use of VAR not only changes the game in terms of long waits for decisions but also undermines refs’ authority. Like increasing numbers of I guess more mature fans, seems he would prefer the old days of ref’s call is accepted, whatever you feel about it. Sadly TV and money mean those days are over.

Plus his team, stupidity aside, really played for him tonight, 4-1 was incredibly flattering to Chelsea.
