Stayed in Cost Adeje this time. The Princess Inspire. Adult only hotel. 3 pools, 4 bars and professional entertainment on every night. Not brilliant entertainment but a refreshing change. Bars & restaurants close enough by if you wanted a few nights out. Had to book sunbeds but surprisingly it works well.
Normally stay at the Cleopatra behind the Hard rock at Americas. Purely because of its location.

Never tried Adeje but seriously thinking about it.
I love Americas and Christianos but may try something a little quieter.

Been to Adeje twice recently, it is quieter, but it suited us.
Tomorrow we are off to Crete, Kato Gouves for 2 weeks. Been to many Greek islands, but first time too Crete.
Back in time for Leicester game.

I played a blinder this morning. Bit of an upset stomach so I legged it up from the beach to the room because I knew it was going to be pretty horrific, and so it proved to be. Nee mess but the air was toxic.
As I was leaving the room to return to the beach the maid asked if she could service the room. Knowing how bad the bathroom smelled I said "Can you come back in 5 minutes, the wife is just using the toilet". Left the room and when I went back an hour later the room was done but the toilet smelled heavily of bleach <laugh>

    Bump for this thread lads

Got Turkey booked for next August. Do you reckon I should be moving it closer to home? All looks a bit dodgy over that neck of the woods. Erdoğan being very vocal on this Isreali stuff.

A bit late for you now but I use an e-sim from Airalo when off travelling, they only do data but way cheaper than roaming charges. Used in US and SA so far with no bother.

Thanks for that mate, if I'd know what the roaming charges were going to be ahead of travelling I probably would have sorted something like that in advance.

As ot was, the WiFi wasn't too bad, and it was rather therapeutic to be out of reach at times.

I did some holiday venues in my younger days in bands and solo. Had a cracking time but was pissed 80% of it as drink was free! If it’s the same, chances are that’s why entertainment is ropey!!

Sober every gig now as I drive them all!!
