Manchester United and England legend Sir Bobby Charlton has died aged 86 after a battle with dementia. RIP
Meet him back in 2008 at the Swimming World Championships in Manchester. He was sat next to me and we had a lovely chat with him. Signed my business card for my son, last of the true gents. RIP Sir Bobby.

Nottingham Panthers forward Adam Johnson has died after suffering a serious cut to his neck from a skate during Saturday's Challenge Cup match. The game against the Sheffield Steelers was stopped in the 35th minute as the 29-year-old American received emergency treatment from paramedics on the ice. The injury was so horrific it forced the game to be abandoned and left traumatised fans in tears. His mother Kari took to social media to share her heartbreak this morning - telling friends: 'I lost half of my heart today.' The Panthers said on Sunday they were "devastated" Johnson had died following a "freak accident". "The club will dearly miss him and will never ever forget him," they added. Awful, truly awful. RIP
It will eventually lead to neck protectors - it's mandatory in most junior Hockey over here - so sad!!
