Think you were well below your usual level and as usual we find a way to shoot ourselves in the foot. Begovic didn’t have loads to do tbf but we’re ****ed.
Another unreal display from Bellingham, bagged both as Madrid won the El Classico 2-1. Feel sorry for him though, would be nailed on for the World Player of the Year next year but he’s got the likes of Maddison, Son and Romero in front of him. Hard luck that.
Yeah found it a bit odd Choudhury who I don’t rate anyway was right back at times or seemed to be. Vardy was quiet but Winks and whoever the bloke right wing was were well above anything we had even on a reasonably good day.
Probably Fatawu... who was involved in the sending off - Mavididi on the left wing ... Fatawu is only 19 - on a season long loan from Sporting Lisbon, with obligation to make it permanent if we get promoted - would buy him now - very exciting player and is only going to get better... Choudhry's not really a full back, but can fill in there and also at centre back - but is really a centre mid defensive enforcer ...
Yeah I know. Just never seen the guy play well. I didn’t need to know the other kid’s inside leg measurement but thanks anyway.
Oh completely. Would be shocked if Sheff Wed don’t overtake us unless they’re deducted points. Would be handy for me if Pompey stay down but that looks unlikely. At least the league generally is a bit more southern than this one.
Yeah the championship is a proper Northern League this season, no chance Wednesday overtake you though as they're even worse I think. Have you got any dough to spend in Jan or do you think you'll accept your fate? Agree that the blue few will finally achieve promotion this season. Looking forward to the derby next year.
I see a lot of midlands clubs to be honest. At a count there's about 10 northern, 8 southern and then a bunch like West Brom, Leicester, Coventry, etc who are are long way from Southampton and a long way from Newcastle
Brentford have won more games at Stamford Bridge since April 23 than Chelsea have please log in to view this image
I was expecting them to rule the goal out due to their player fouling their keeper. It's what happened against Palace last year when we drew 0-0. Yes I'm still bitter about it.
Your wingers look like they've got a lot of potential but nowhere near the finished product. Compare Fatawu's 1 goal and 1 assist against Jack Clarke's 9 goals and 1 assist. You can see he still has a long way to go, yet.
