Our first XI is really good but our depth is shocking and that was evident today. Went to complete **** after a few subs. Good result though. The bbq remains lit.
It’ll be great fun when they’re top of the league in April then have a run against Newcastle, City, Arsenal and you and it all ends in tears.
They need a miracle and that miracle is the dickhead putting his hand in his pocket and backing the manager. 2 signings in Jan and they have a crack at it. Lots off footy to play yet though lots can change.
There's a player in there you need to get the confidence in him as he could be just the player you need off the bench. Seen him play for Villarreal a few times and boss the game.
That's always a factor but when you need bodies you're better off trying to get the best out of him and get him to learn the system. Bit like Curtis Jones with us, it's taken time but he's starting to do what's needed to get us through games. And I don't mean getting sent off. You're not in a position where you can hand Off a player that can play but is struggling with the system and pace. Coach the ****er.
He’s almost 4 and a half years into his Spurs career having cost £42m. He’s currently the 6th choice midfielder and when Bentancur’s back he’ll be 7th and likely not get on the pitch. Thank **** as well.
Spurs don't know how to coach and develop their own players, thought you would have relised that, hence why they have to take Leicester City's cast-offs, proper youth development club I hear.
Yeah, that's my point. They need squad players and at times you have to look at who you have and get the best out of them. I've seen him run games, there's a player there and they have a guy who doesn't like to spend so you have to look at who you have. To go back to Jones with us, he's been frustrating and I'm still not convinced but Klopp is coaching him into a different role where he just does a basic job well. At times that's all you need, win the ball, pass the ball.
Spurs fans even now come across as very blinkered when it comes to 'their' best players, even now after Kane has gone - and it took bloody ages for that to even sink in, that there would be life after Kane, but you can't tell em. I don't mind Spurs though, so like to see them achieve some sort of trophy win this season, even if it's just for the bantz.
He’s ****. Always has been and always will be. Ndombele was an absolute disaster of a signing but at least he had talent. Lo Celso offers absolutely nothing.
The guy that doesn’t like to spend spent more on Lo Celso than he did Maddison. Pape Sarr has been coached into a far better player than Lo Celso and this is only his second season at the club and he’s just turned 21. Coaching ain’t the issue nor the answer for Lo Celso, the guy simply can’t hack English football. You can’t be at a club for four and a half years, be 6th choice midfielder and claim he “just needs to be coached”. It’s way past that now.
Ndombele was **** no talent there, footballs Forest Gump FFS but like I say I've seen Lo Celso control games and be a really important player. You have a new manager and new system where you get people on the ball. You at times need to use what you have. That seems to be lost on you though. Perhaps that bald prick will buy you someone but I doubt it.
