We're now in the same boat as Australia, in the sense that we can probably only afford one more defeat (to qualify with a 5-4 win record would require a lot of luck - and a good NRR, which we don't have; it's more likely to need a 6-3 win record).
The difference though is that we still need to play India (and SA), whereas Australia don't. The chances are that we'll be losing to India.

This partnership between van der Merwe and Edwards was the most fun thing I have watched at the WC so far. Sad it has ended.
All of a sudden this has become a somewhat tricky chase for SA. Whereas England let Afghanistan get off to a flier the other day, SA have let Holland off the hook at the end here. Very poor death bowling.
In their other games the top order has fired. Now they need to rely on their previously untested middle order.
