Portugal giving a decent account of themselves against Fiji..... Both sides looking to run the ball and play expansive rugby..... great fun on a Sunday evening
Without trying to be disrespectful to everyone else, I now think the winner is coming from IRE or NZ. But I think wales are now the dark horses
They’ll either be rested and ready to go ….. or they’ll be undercooked Ireland have had 2 tough games - I don’t think that’s a bad thing: I think that will have prepared them and make them battle-hardened
I can’t see us beating either Ireland or the ABs - not unless either have a couple of players red carded
Unreal Fiji score straight away...... going length of the pitch when it looked like Portugal were going to score again....
My word..... Portugal score a stunning good try and a kick to win it...... unreal now 23 - 24, 30 seconds left
Back a few hours from Paris. Grateful I decided to give London (QPR) a miss for once. Another great trip. We played brilliant the first hour or so. We took Sexton and the entire front row off to give them a rest. Stade de France is starting to feel like home from home and is becoming very familiar. The support we are getting there is huge - another 50k I'd say last night. I met people from all walks of life who had travelled to Paris from accross the globe. All games from now on are huge pressure games. The four games in the quarters will be decent but NZ v Ire and Fra v SA should be really good. Both of those games could go either way and the winners will surely face Wales and England in the semis. I am away for the quarters next week and the semi (if we get there). However...........not tempting fate I hope, but, I have a flight and hotel booked for the final. I will go along for the atmosphere if we don't get there. If we do get there, anybody any tickets?? It is no coincidence that all four group's were won by N.H. team's. Enjoy.
