you into the old blues brb dude…..way too many to mention in that genre thst I like but Fred mcdowell and Mississippi John hurt obviously Robert Johnson too name a few of my favourites
I tend to have a different taste in music than that of my guitar playing - mainly because I want to play or create something that don't require vocals. So lots of riffs mashed together or stuff like the minor blues, bb box and anything else that I can create out of scales. I hate strumming, so mainly note playing, but will give strumming an ocassional go, much like that earlier youtube that Luv put up, because it caught my curiosity. If you were to look through my saved youtube music, you would find artists such as ELO, Queen, Eagles and Pink Floyd to listen to but I will also pull out riffs from other artists such as Gerry Rafferty, Carlos Santana bit of Marley and even Ennio Morricone because there's stuff I can pull out of those songs, but I also like them. What don't I like, Jazz despite me having a jazz note in my title on here lol, Jazz fookers like Piskie fook my brain cells up haha. I'm not particularly a fan of rock n roll either, I can bare it, but just would never play it. So you can see an area of music I keep away from, including the music you just put up, soz dude. Everything really depends on my mood and level of concentration - I've not played or practised now for months for those very reasons, but hopefully with the darker nights drawing in, I might get back into it.

Just a great track all around the emotion in the C'mon Billy! line is great and like you say the simple guitar is brilliant, one of my many favourites by her.

Trivia for the above video... Why did Elizabeth Cotten play the guitar upside down? The guitar was owned and used by Libba (Elizabeth) Cotten. Libba taught herself to play the banjo and the guitar as a child, holding the instruments upside down because she was left handed.
Although I don't know if cotten ever restrung her guitar, or just always played the bass with the finger and treble with thumb. Hendrix did both.
