Saw this on the Sky scores thing, fingers crossed. Seems to happen so often now.

Yeah seems to but not sure how much of it is being more aware of it as in years gone by the game would have never been stopped etc. fair play to the Rotherham keeper as he was screaming at ref to notify him instead of taking a goal kick. Obviously heard a lot of instances recently but feels more real when you're there.

I wasn't even close really but more opposite side of corner flag and it was on stairway so I could see clearly them doing chest compressions for quite some time and was trying to distract nipper from looking over. Reminds you how unimportant the game is really, very surreal atmosphere in second half.

not being funny but i would have let him look whilst explaining what was happening .

I told him what had happened and why there was delay but he didn't seem to be looking over and notice exactly what was happening so I just kind of blocked his view from it without him realising if that makes sense.

I take your point though, and with hindsight I probably agree, but tbh I actually found it quite distressing and my instinct was to protect him from that. He asked about it when we got in though as I had discussed it with some Rotherham fans on way home so I explained it all properly then.
