Good on him so as hoped the defeat has checked his ego as only a complete fool doesn’t learn from his/her mistakes.
As Bismarck said “Only a fool learns from his own mistakes. The wise man learns from the mistakes of others.”

'On the night' is entirely relevant and 'key' because we are discussing the Ipswich game.I think “on the night” is key here. There haven’t been many games in Rosie’s tenure where that has been the case and when it has (Sunderland away last season), we’ve managed to put the ball in the net at the other end to at least balance things out.
I for one, want him to succeed and I think most on here feel the same, so I’m actually pleased that he is shouldering the blame for what happened the other night. If he has learnt from it, and not just the mistakes that he made on the night but the fact that he still has a lot to learn, then hopefully everyone will benefit.
I know some suggest he’s arrogant and I can sort of see where that comes from but I prefer to think it’s just a strong belief that he has the ability to be better than the average manager. If he can add a level of humility to his locker and accept that he still has things to improve on in his tactical knowledge and ideas, then we could all be onto a winner. I just hope he gets the time to get there with us.
Always talking about himself. So arrogant.
Only part, so he’s mostly happy with his performance?
What an arrogant tosser.

Absolutely this!I don’t think anyone on here thinks that the performance put in on Tuesday doesn’t deserve criticism, Rosenior included.
What people are defending is perspective. Losing at Norwich and Ipswich but winning 4 including an away win to the probable Champions is all part of a solid start.
Everyone pretty much agreed that a Play-Off push this season would be a satisfactory season - we are exactly where we wanted to be but suddenly Rosenior and the team aren’t good enough.
The club weren't in a great place at that time (playing and managerial wise). He immediately improved results to finish safe mid-table. Next season they went up.
Can't really rule that out yet for ourselves this season. Can we?
I've read an interview with an Ipswich player who said that they knew before they played us that we were one of the best teams in the division.
Have you read the interview? If I could be bothered to find it I would because I've never seen such a glowing assessment from an opposition player.Every team is one of the best in the division of you interview a player who's just about to or has just played them. It's a bit like a new transfer saying "as soon as I knew ( insert club they have just signed for ) it was the only place I wanted to go
I'll keep an eye out for their fixture against the worst thenCan't really rule that out yet for ourselves this season. Can we?

Yes, because that's how football works.I'll keep an eye out for their fixture against the worst then
Should be a goal-fest!

That must be why we beat Leicester.Scrappy 1-0 away win to the worst team in the league.
ALWAYS happens
Nobody should be immune from criticism, or praise for that matter. I'm somewhere in the middle of this seemingly tribal, very tiresome **** on here. The endless war between the 'bed wetters' and the 'happy clappers'. There are big positives I consider, but then I have bug bears with what I'm seeing too...
Negatives...
We put ourselves under needless pressure by being too pedestrian and casual.
We kill off potential goalscoring opportunities by being too pedestrian and casual.
This could be bias, but I think we could be preventing a lot of the goals that we concede.
Many teams we don't beat, it feels that way because we let them back into the game at some point and got punished for it.
We seem to be too willing to pass backwards rather than make that forward pass and it sometimes seems like possession is more important than going for the jugular.
We're still not winning at home and a lot of these games feel like points dropped.
Some players have had a poor start to the season compared to what they were doing for us last season.
Oscar should have stayed with no replacement coming in.
Injuries are becoming a concern again.
Players are being played out of position, granted in the past couple of weeks some of that is down to necessity.
We have the ability to control games but we don't tend to capitalise with goals during those spells as often as we perhaps should.
I don't think we beat the press effectively.
I don't think there's much of a plan B when the opposition sits off us more.
Positives...
I think our new signings have only improved us.
We're in a good position after some difficult games.
On paper we have a much 'easier' run coming up and we should be expecting to take points from most of them.
We don't lose many games.
It feels like we've got another gear to switch into yet.
The club feels like it's really on the up.
I really like the owner.
Sinik looked good the other night and might be worth the time invested in him afterall.
We have a bright manager who knows what he wants and how he wants to achieve it. Time will tell how far it can get us.
The team is gelling nicely with hopefully more to come.
Only part, so he’s mostly happy with his performance?
