I was just thinking at half time how much I miss your musings on here when we play at home…welcome back!
I love Lascelles. Kept the spirit of the club alive in the darkest days. Frozen out of the side by more naturally talented players. Eddie has faith and keeps him as club captain even with Trippier in the squad. Gets his chance, and keeps Dembele quiet as he leads the toon to a 4-1 win against PSG. Well deserved and well done lad.
Kylian Mbappe Zinedine Zidane Charles De Gaulle Coco Chanel Gustave Eiffel Claude Debussy Jacques Cousteau Raymond Blanc Thierry Henry Gérard Depardieu David Ginola Napoleon Bonaparte YOUR BOYS HAVE JUST TOOK ONE ‘ELL OF A BEATING!!!!!
Not unless the international break has been extended until after Christmas we won’t…a certain Harvey Barnes is cattled until then!
The fact two local lads scored - and we had at least five boyhood toon fans on the pitch in a champs league win against PSG is what really makes it for me. For me the Newcastle dream is not to buy the league, but to have a team of Geordies compete with the best. We’ll never have John Hall’s 11 Geordies in the modern game - but to have five beat Mbappe and the rest is so damn sweet.
What the hell did I just watch!!! We were phenomenal. Schar at the back was a colossus and Lascelles looked like he belonged. The midfield was incredible and Gordon and Miggy terrorised them. Top of the group of death!! The group where Newcastle United murdered 3 CL big guns!
