I'm off the fence. He's inexperienced, arrogant, naive, and over-rated. He hasn't got it in his locker to improve us as an attacking force. He's been backed by a great owner whose brought in some talented players.
Question is, can he drop his arrogance, learn and adapt.

The fact he is inexperienced suggests Acun is willing to give him time. Be interesting to see what happens come the end of the season should we not finish in the top 6.

Pre-season most were happy with a top 10 finish so I think it would take finishing outside of that for any serious discussions. Managers sometimes don't help themselves with how well they start a season as it creates a new level of expectation. Although funnily enough the people most upset at us 'finding our true level' are probably the ones who were claiming all along what our true level was.

Yes he was definately injured
it's up to the medical staff - the referee wouldnt overrule them

The question is, do you know how Ipswich managed to play the way 'Rosieball should be played'?

Because back in 2021, they took a chance on a young, inexperienced manager with a long term plan. And despite some bumps in the road, they stuck with him, allowed his style to evolve over a couple of seasons, and now they're one of the best footballing sides in the 92.


Sounds like a good thing to follow...

Conclusion did we got beat by the best side in the Championship (yes that includes Leicester) or are we in a false position.

I think the table proves they're the best home side in the division, and have scored their usual 3 again today.

I hoped we lay more of a glove on them though.

Not having Coyle play right back with Vinagre left back
Not having Delap and Connolly joint strikers
Dropping Slater

I'm guessing you've got an extremely short memory as you couldn't possibly post something like that if you remembered how you where when we were storming league 1 and you wanted grant out etc...
