My understanding was it was the chairman of football clubs, that voted whether this monstrosity should come in - it was voted in by some clubs that are no longer in the top tiers, iirc clubs like Wigan.

So surely the fans of all the clubs, need to put pressure on their chairman/owners to vote this system back out, once any existing contractual arrangements with it expire?

For a long while I argued that it wasn't VAR it was the ppl administering it. But the point is that human failings will always occur, with and without VAR.

So VAR will never improve, and I'd rather leave it to the officials on the pitch to fck things up.

    We need to bin VAR.

Exactly mate, whatever they do will never improve it, we might as well go back to human error, at least then the ref can swing decision later in a game if he or she realises they fooked up.

It worked OK in the world cup.

It's not VAR itself at all. It's specifically English football ****ing this up.

Premier league/the referees/the FA all are ****ing clueless. Or are deliberately cheating.

    Wasn't even close.

They were told to find a reason to disallow that goal.

They've already previously admitted to cheating, when he said he would not send 'his mate' to the monitor. To me that's cheating, denying the opportunity of a correct outcome.

With you ... as mentioned above, the TMO in Rugby is working just fine ... partly because every ****er involved actually knows the rules and they talk through the application where everyone watching can hear ...

I was about 14 at the time and the Copper was a brick **** house. **** got me in an arm lock and strong armed me out of the ground.

Also got chucked out at Maine Rd which was scary as that is a sketchy area to be on your own as an away fan

Remember getting in bother at the old Plough Lane, the Steward trying to chuck me out was such a fat bastard that when I broke free he couldn't catch up with me, so I just hopped back over the fence and into the crowd. <laugh>
