Wonder what Liverpool mean by this...

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/66978938

Liverpool said they will "explore the range of options available given the clear need for escalation and resolution."

I read it as a mere apology and then brush it under the carpet is not acceptable. There needs to be some meaningful actions to improve the use of VAR?

I was one of those who said it would be **** and would likely make the standard of officiating worse. I didn’t expect it to be this bad, this quickly!

I posted similar within the first few months.Mine went something like
I thought Var would be bad and gradually get worse over the years but instead we decided to shortcut the process and go straight to completely **** .

I thought var would be a good thing then saw it trialed at the women's world cup and it proved to be **** there and now it matters it's still arse.

VAR is **** but the amount of crying from Liverpool as a club as opposed to just the fans is quite something. Sheffield United got relegated because of a glitch in the goal line tech and there wasn’t 1% of the hysteria.

a club that didn’t wanna be in this league because someone was flashing money at them so started talking about setting up a euro league with the other greedy selfish fkrs

not being affiliated with any of the so called big clubs……I would have said bye then close the fking door on the way out

Let’s not forget Liverpool have been on the end of some big decisions in the past too.

This selective outrageous from them is pathetic.

I can almost guarantee they will be on the end of something favourable in the next month or so because of all this hysteria.

If I remember correctly which I do lol……klopp and co were fully behind players needing Covid vaccine and even said he wouldn’t buy anyone not vaccinated…….fking Nazi

tuchel at Chelsea was the only one who came out and said it’s the choice of individuals and he wouldn’t force it on anyone who didn’t want it

I think it is an exceptional case given they messed up a very simple offside call rather than a subjective penalty. But for the official Twitter page to basically insinuate some sort of dark forces at work is a bit nuts

I just want to know what the VAR officials were actually doing instead of watching the game. So far i've narrowed the options down to
a) on a smoke break
b) on Pornhub
c) watching the Ryder Cup
d) playing Starfield

The Liverpool VAR 'decision' was absolutely bizarre ...

Been watching the Rugby World Cup where they often go to the TMO ... they almost always get it right ... there is the odd question of subjectivity ... but haven't seen one wrong decision on the grounding of a try etc ... plus the ref is miked up so everybody hears what is being debated and the slo-mo accompanying it is showing on the big screens...

Now if they'd done that with the Liverpool incident, and left the ref to make a decision based on the footage, this bizarre outcome would have been avoided...

As I've maintained from the off, it's not the technology, it's the idiots using it and the protocols they have for the reviews ... coupled with stupidity on some rules like offside and handballs...
