It's onside everyone can see that, who knows what happens if it stands? You may still have won but the point is that the whole thing is just a mess.

I've only seen a couple of vids of it but it looks 100% onside, I'd be absolutely spitting feathers if that was against my team.

Think the other big calls were correct though.

Yeah you can argue the first red all day, just have to accept it and move on.

Yeah it wasn't a nailed-on red or anything but I would expect the player to get sent off for that generally. We did have pretty much the same thing happen against us last week when a Sheffield United player went over the ball into Longstaff but it was one of those where we were well ahead in the game and the ref seemed to just ignore it out of sympathy - at the end of the day there's always an element of subjectivity so unless it's clearly wrong then you do indeed have to accept it.

No excuses for offsides though, will be watching MOTD tonight with interest for that, pulling back from 1-0 down to 2-1 up with 10 men and it would have changed the 2nd half hugely.

I agree mate but you lot got the advantage of exactly the same screw up in the fa cup v wolves (I think)... was it the year you won it?

Can also remember the farce of the penalty in the CL final...May well have lost anyway but a penalty cos a ball bounces off your knee into your armpit ffs?

Anyhow ... on a serious note ... the first red was correct, harsh but correct, the offside was a joke...if the Offside VAR didn't work they should have done given it cos you can see it by eye.
Jota needs a slap...1st yellow was soft but he should have got it for the previous tackle.

Just glad we got lucky...weve conceded 8 goals this season ... 2 ogs and 2 softish penalties...so a bit of luck is most welcome.

We may as well go back to officials making the decisions then, VAR isn't working. Just have to accept that some you win some you lose. We all get our game back then.

In regards that. Today we'd not have had a red for Jones, Diaz offside. 11 Vs 11 until Jota and a better game.
