I was subscribed to the Sunderland echo back in the day.
Used to get it delivered by post down here .

yep good days. There used be hundreds of football echos go out of William St every week.

 

I was the office boy for the Echo in Bridge Street back in the early 1970's...my job was to send out the Football Echo's to all those subscribers...what a s hit job that was. But gave me a few quid while I was at school.

 

About the same as me mate, never looked back, although I don’t post much, I read a lot and there're a lot of good people here.

Same here 4 yrs, joined rtg 2007 used to be canny cannot stomach pure football now still get some canny threads in SMB though.

Know of its existence but cant remember how or why because I know I never went on it.

 

down as 2013 for rtg...that must have been my 2nd or 3rd instance, remember getting banned back in the early 2000's and asked a mod on the way to a match if they knew why but no one got back to me so started a new account so 2013 must have been the 3rd.

 

I came over from BBC 606 when that closed down. Followed Vinegar Joe’s lead who recommended thus forum.
