that was my thought too…I kinda don’t want to get promoted …would rather be one of the top dogs in the championship than the whipping boys in the prem….
Add that to the fact that VAR can be a pain in the ****ing arse and it does make you wonder whether it's really worth it.Obviously a massive cash injection if you achieve it but nowadays you'd need to spend, spend, spend to even try to compete, don't spend and you're embarrassed week in/week out?

Had a gander at one of the blades forums to see how they where taking it then I saw a post by “ Hull Blade” and thought ahh **** him..

Maybe he is from Sheffield or his family were. Can’t see someone born and bred wanting to support them. All the inadequate ****s opt for TWS and a team in red.

Noooo.
Have to dream.
And believe that Acun really will take us up AND turn us into an established PL side. Why not.

Dare to dream? Been there done that. The first time with the joyous announcement, "administration was not an option. There was nothing to administer."
Second time around, the owners got into the hole for about 100 million. Saved only by the huge increase in parachute payments, and a fair few quid in transfer dealings.

Past history of course now, and the present owners may have a grand plan for the promised land should we get there.

That was plenty of time for substitute Alexander Isak to pounce on another defensive error, turn his man and calmly finish to make it 8-0, the same score by which Newcastle beat Sheffield Wednesday in 1999.

The result is also Sheffield United's record league defeat.
