Flew through Frankfurt a few days ago, arrived late so missed next flight. A taxi to hotel, reasonable hotel with breakfast, taxi back to airport for first flight next morning all at the expense of Lufthansa, all on vouchers nothing to pay and claim back later. All sorted within 10 minutes of arriving at the gate to find it already closed. The benefits of not flying low cost.
I quite like a lot of what you post Castro but sometimes you just seem to get in a funny/bad mood. You come on the holiday thread and then snipe at someone for having a holiday. Its not like Balkan has been complaining about the cost of living crisis is it?
No. That was why I put a smilie. Balkan Tiger is OK. However some constantly harp on about the cost of living crisis and how it is affecting Hull and City’s supporters and people can’t afford to attend games. And we have a thread about holidays with people talking about 2, 3 or 4 holidays abroad (hope they aren’t eco zealots who bang on about net zero) . Not to mention discussions from people about their Porsches, Ferraris, Range Rovers, Jags etc. I suppose it is true poverty is relative.
It is very relative mate. I have 4 or 5 holidays per year but I can't afford to go to many City matches. Mind you its not the ticket price I can't do. Its the $16,000 USD to charter a private jet between Stockholm and Humberside Airport and back.
There ****ing is a cost of living crisis in the UK. Just had a pint of Peroni Gran Riserva (bit darker, stronger flavour and 6.6% for the aficionados on here) for less than a pint in my local!
Well it was supposed to be a joke mate but if I had to explain that it was a joke then I'm straying into Sumatran territory....
