A good friend of my family who lives in Durham, has just messaged me with some news.

She works in the Hospitality/Catering dept at the SOL.

She said recently they catered for about eight reps from the BBC.

She was later told that they were interested in us being invited to be part of a feature on Football Focus, some time in the near future.

She is a mag, but all of my family from the Durham area are split SAFC/Mag

She said that this group of reps were really sweet. One of them said that her grandad was a Sunderland fan back in the 1960's.

    .......Well WTF.....I wonder?

We do deserve it though, as long as it is not covered by that female presenter who can't be arsed to pronounce simple words...

I can well believe this mate, we are being noticed in the media. I dont know which journalist it was on radio 5 before deadline day said no club in the championship is doing better transfer business than Sunderland. I also saw some reporting on our academy setup as being on a massive upward curve.

A feature on football focus? We were massive on Netflix man.:emoticon-0102-bigsm

I would want Jill Scott involved if possible. Someone from the area that knows the club and actually cares and not some cockney wide boy that will inevitably mention Newcastle after doing a bit of research the night before.
