That hasn't helped us so far. If anything I think they like to make an example out of us but everyone highlights times when they haven't gone down really hard on us.

I don't think Suarez will get found guilty and mainly I don't want him to be found guilty as it would rumble on and it's not in the interests of the game for it to be true.

I only object to United somehow being to blame for it - if ( and like I say it's a big IF ) Suarez is found guilty then it's because he has done wrong and nothing to do with any Pro-United conspircy

Eric,Its not the few things that Fergie gets done by the FA for that gets on our tits.

Its the many more things he does'nt get done for that we take issue with.

Yes but there has been posts about Fergie commenting on the case when he has pretty much done the same as Kenny.

the difference is that fergie has denied making comments while accusing liverpool of constantly making comments - fergie said this on sky sports - this is the same channel he told that suarez definitely said something to evra but i am not allowed comment on it - how can he make a comment and then immediately say he is not allowed comment and then accuse liverpool of not respecting the fa request for silence.

he will probably give his opinion on the matter, then say he is not allowed to comment about the matter and then accuse liverpool of constantly commenting on the matter

He said at a time when Sepp Blatter is caught in up controversial situation due to his views on racism in the game Gus Poyet was foolish to comment on his thoughts about Evra.

So he managed to tar Poyet with Blatters tarnished image without adding that Poyet never backed Blatter or made a racist comment.

Poyet said Evra was "a moaning old woman" or something similar.

The problem with the case now is that whatever happens, someone's reputation will be tarnished. If there's no conclusive evidence then Evra will be labelled a liar and he won't really be able to report anyone if he's racially abused in future, for fear of being punished himself and if Suarez is punished on a technicality, such as the "negrito" word not being acceptable in England (if that's what he said) according to the FA then he'll be unfairly labelled as a racist even though its just normal word for him that he uses in everyday life.

"They got him sent off," he said. "There's no doubt about that and they would have never won if we had 11 men. He [Rafael] is a young boy, inexperienced and there's a bit of immaturity about what happened but they got him sent off. Typical Germans."

"That sending off changed the game. I thought they were typical professionals in the way they saw the opportunity and forced the referee. It was only a slight tug at the boy and, Jesus, he was 35 yards from goal."

"He [Rafael] was having a marvellous game and it's a tragedy for him but the ref wasn't going to do anything until they forced him to get a card out. But we've seen that before from teams like that."

Seeing as the mancs have the 'Steven Gerrard Appreciation Thread' on their board maybe we should do a Fergie one.

The 69-year-old would not be drawn on saying anything about the Evra situation, under instructions from the FA, but he was upset with Poyet's comments.

"I'm surprised by Gus Poyet's remarks," Ferguson said. "It's inappropriate at a time when people throughout the world are condemning racism.

"I can understand why he wants to support someone from his country but I think he should think more about it. His criticism of Evra is a bit silly."

    The best bit is

    1) It was a second yellow, not a straight red, so it doesn't matter how far away from goal you are.
    2) It was Ribery who went down, a Frenchman...
