I don't understand the decision to start James tonight. Granted he had 2 assists in the last game but one was a miskick and the other was fortunate to get past 2 defenders. Gonna take something to convince me he's a footballer

I read that this game means no more to the fans than playing Doncaster. 9 or 10 men behind the ball tells me that Rosenior is taking this game very seriously.
You would think they were away

We’re playing a high press which James is good at and trying to win the ball when they play out from the back. Almost caught them out a couple of times too.

Sloppy first 20 minutes from us. Farke obviously had a word when Gnonto was down injured as we have been much better since. Dominant. Could be 2 or 3 up. I concur that their keeper has been good.

Struijk has been much more aggressive tonight and he has looked much better at the back. He still strays out of position but has been much much better. Rodon has been outstanding. The full backs look on the cusp of costing us everytime Hull attack us out wide with Shackleton giving the ball away and Ayling clinging on by his fingertips to their trickiest lad on the wing (who looks a right handful to be fair).

Ampadu running things. Gray ticking things over.

Rutter, James and Summerville look dangerous and Piroe is having another Sheff Wed performance. He's not been involved.

I've a feeling we may tire at the 60 minute mark so hopefully fresh legs will be put on a bit earlier than normal.

as the game went on we controlled it. never really gave Hull a sniff of yet. we have had some decent chances and their keeper to be fair has pulled off a couple of decent saves but this game is there to be won. Piroe been very quiet and we need to find him infront of goal Rutter should of scored to be fair but if that was the other way around we be praising Mes. Cry has the beating of his man and is the important link 2nd half. just need a bit of skill ladyluck infront of goal don't think Hull had a shot. If we get 1 we will get a few me thinks. Hull are neat and tidy on the ball but to be honest go nowhere and we have snuffed them out. c'mon lads this game is there to be won.

Farke had them all over to him when Gnonto was down. We stopped the tricks and flicks and were much better. Part Summerville but I'd like to think Farke sorted out the issues.

Farke also needs some credit for pissing Summerville off so much by leaving him out he’s turned into a man possessed <laugh>

Playing well, which he needed to do because he was woeful last time. If I’m being critical, he always seems to shoot at a height that gives the keeper a chance. Look back at the Piroe goal against Millwall. Passed the ball in low across the goal

There’s that word ‘woeful’ again <doh> btw Piroe needs to actually move a bit to get into a goal scoring position <whistle>

Strange that a player who runs his arse off and gets a decent shot away gets criticised and yet a player who imitates a statue gets off scot free.
