We are like most European countries too soft on it, as @Lovearsenalcock said a while back, chop a few hands off, it will soon stop it.
Yeah it's spread up here now been quite a few stabbings and tbh it was actually rare until the past decade I'd say. Standing around even in a city you know singing and chanting shirtless at midnight isn't exactly streetwise and this bloke is lucky by the sound of it. I expect more trouble tonight but hopefully the travelling fans will be smarter.
I never carry any weapon, I tend to use commonsense judgement, especially when out late at night, in fact I'd probably catch a taxi back to be safer. I certainly wouldn't be walking about in a foreign city at midnight as an aging man shirtless, well unless I left it behind at the gay bar by mistake.
Yeah, prison is not a deterrent. Perhaps extremely long sentences but, then everyone else pays for it. Obviously if we went about lobbing off limbs and hanging all murderers, we would stop more **** but, we aren't in those times anymore and they say "modern problems modern solutions." I can't think of a modern solution to knife crime. Perhaps Aber has a solution.
Chinese style detention centres, where the family have to pay for your keep. If you aint got family then you are not getting fed unless you beg. All these problems have a solution it just needs some outward thinking.
Think Pinkie once suggested we hand out surf boards to disenfranchised youth in the London suburbs. "Come on guys, let's get on a wave and I swear, things will be swell! Have you ever listened to the Beach Boys?!" But I think that solution is still waiting for parliamentary approval.
Yeah there was a kid up here stabbed his mate 55 times in his own bedroom and got out about 7 years later. Seriously 55 times that's not a mistake. Low and behold he was locked back up not long after for carrying a tool to a pub and attacking someone. They're quite simply not bothered about a few years.
We always charge the taxpayer for the criminal bill, we should be charging the families they come from, obviously they have an alternative choice, wear a fooking condom so we aint got to deal with their delinquents.
But what if one of your kids went on a bad path and ****ed someone up? Would you be a bit offended if the state came around and said "yeah, brb, you raised them **** its your fault and here's a bill." The parents might be sound
