Felt our Match day thread yesterday turned into the 'Sunderland fans critiquing our opinions thread', so to start with...Swansea fans are welcome, but we support QPR on here, and will want QPR to win. We may show bias at times, what is written below may even, show just a tint, a tiny little tint, of bias towards QPR. Swansea head to Loftus Road in pretty poor form, having not won in the league so far this season (two draws and four losses)...they sit 22nd with 2 points. They have scored a total of six goals in those six games, with Joël Piroe and Jerry Yates both with two goals, although Piroe has since departed for Leeds. They've conceded eleven, which is actually exactly the same goal stats as us. Their new manager, Michael Duff, came in from Barnsley in June, and promised their season would properly start in early September after signing Josh Tymon, Kristian Pedersen, Bashir Humphreys and Jamal Lowe. Since then, they've lost two in a row, both to local(ish) rivals Bristol City then arch rivals Cardiff City. As for us, yesterday was a frustrating one wasn't it! An early red is always going to create an up hill struggle, and eventually Sunderland's class, helped by the extra man, shone through and they got the win. Willock and Dykes started from the bench, and I felt Chair was often looking up for options, and on not finding any, started running into a wall of Sunderland players. He was missing Dykes as an option. The only option, at times, was Sinclair Armstrong, but he had at least one man on him; on his back, holding his arms, hugging him round the waist, pushing him out the way...and the ref blew every time he managed to shrug his marker off and get enough space to receive the ball. He needs to get wise as to how to use his strength effectively, without getting accused of fouling the majority of the time he touches the ball. Manager comments and team news to go up when on the official, enjoy if you are going to be at HQ, and as always... ...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!
Thanks Dave. I thought Lowe scored a few for us? Wiki credits him with 3. He also provided the ball into Martin which gave us the well needed 3 points at Burnley.
Indeed he did...good spot. Another good spot...someone else not to worry about, at least not this week!
The way we are playing, you should win comfortably. Duff could well be sacked on Saturday evening if we lose to Sheffield Wednesday
l wouldn’t get too despondent, we may chose to play you guys back into form although l hope we don’t take that option.
Hi Didley - we were in (I think) the same Championship position last season when we played you (you were near the top) and, surprisingly we beat you at our place. Can’t see history repeating itself ….
You do know what happens when we play any team that is struggling more than us , don't you Taff ? If this was the Rugby thread I'd be saying , your at it now lol !
Sheff Wed look like the closest thing in this division to a guaranteed 3 points ! Apart from ourselves of course
Warnock leaving Huddersfield after their midweek game, as they have a mystery foreign coach waiting on the wings apparently. Warnock said they have a 3 year plan to get into the Premier League lol. I give it 4 months before Warnock cones back somewhere for 1 last job lol
He admits that he has never worked on what to do if you go down to ten men? No wonder we were clueless in the second half. Surely as a professional manager you work on every eventuality. He's been a manager for over ten years. **** sake.
Is this for Swansea's benefit? He's a nice bloke and all that but he only played 41 games for us and he's A Forever R?
Yep, very strange to pick a player who has an affiliation with the opposing team. If they're gonna start inducting players who haven't even played 50 games for us, maybe it's time they started inducting some fans, who have been to over 1000 games to support (their often dire) team !
What, he’s never envisaged that any of his players would ever get sent off? It’s never happened to him before? I was anticipating something more like ‘we know Jack has history with Sunderland, obviously I didn’t impress on him the need for professionalism enough’. Not ‘what, players can get sent off!!??’

"We have a super-fit squad" ??? Someone needs to take GA's rose-tinted glasses away. If he doesn't want to sound negative, he could have said "we continue to improve our fitness levels week after week..." Our lack of full fitness is self-evident, I don't understand why professional players struggle to play for 90-100 mins when they are supposed to be scientifically trained and having fitness developed. Rant over!
This was getting a lot of negative responses on social media, Andy Sinton released this message ... please log in to view this image
