Pembele is a hell of an attacking threat. I cannot wait to see this lad play. Most exciting signing I can remember last few years. Cirkin overlapping is tremendous as well. I think those two can offer loads going forward. Ekwah and Neil would be freerer to go forward together as well as one of Hume or ONien would step out 10 yards. I think in the right game it could be a great option.

Pembele will be but it means we’d have to drop a midfielder to accommodate it so I think it’s good when you have loads of defensive options but we seem to have so many midfielders we’d be leaving out. Hume will have a job on his hands keeping that RB spot.

We have nothing to fear this season and others will fear us.

Sadly I think that will result in more teams coming and parking the bus at the SOL and unless we get an early goal we may gut get a little frustrated watching the sort of set ups we suffered against league 1 teams who all parked the bus.

Been saying that about Ba since he first joined us.
Giving him a five year co ntract was a master stroke by the club.
This kid can be anything he wants to be.
What a time to be a lads fan. Ducking brilliant

I think we now have the players to break those sides down. Hemir will only get better, burstow will be a beast, pritchard n Adil can unlock defences with their passes, ba clarke n roberts are so skillful. Dacks movement will be key against teams that sit deep, his movement in the box is class and we havent seen 2 of our most exciting signings play yet in rusyn n pembele. Rusyn will score goals in this team n pembele will be one of the best attacking fullbacks in the league if he adapts to english football

I've not even mentioned the likes of jobe, rigg and jewi who are all attacking threats. We have the makings of some team

Apologies if you have already commented on this on the transfer thread but have you watched much of Aouchiche? Looked very good when he came on today. Could be a big player for us, got himself involved in a lot of good moves.

I’m not saying it wasn’t a bad foul but you see a yellow given for that far more than you see a red at this level. I think at that stage of the game he was getting an earful from your bench and a few players and it came at the right time for you (that’s not a criticism, I wish we did it more).

Armstrong gets a lot given against him as most blokes his size do but all of those fouls you mention were incredibly soft even if fouls at all.

You’ve got some very exciting players no doubt. I don’t think they’ll get anything like that level of protection every week.

Anyway never had anything against Sunderland. Would rather you did well than most in this league.

Only in highlights, technically very good, kinda lost his way a bit but TM will get that ability out of him. He has the potential to be a very good player for us this season n going forward

Rusyn is the 1 im really excited about, reminds me of broadhead (who im a huge fan of). Pembele is such a powerful fullback, the boy is rapid and loves to drive forward - gives us a different option to hume when we need it

A rather blinkered view from the home end me thinks.
That little ginger twat could easily have broken Jobes ankle and you think it was a yellow at most...jog on pal.

Its as clear a red as youll see for a while, hes out of control n catches him high.

Armstrong looks a player, hes got to be more clever with using his body as he gives the refs easy decisions at times because hes so big

Dont mind QPR at all tbh but the time wasting was poor and some unnecessary challenges and 1 of them cost you the game today

All the best for the season

Well yeah lots of fouls could do damage and some minor fouls do a lot of damage.

At the time it didn’t look like much. On the replay it’s worse than that. I still don’t honestly think it’s a straight red and I’m sure few on here will agree with me but I doubt others will get as upset about my opinion.

Was definitely a red card and that’s from someone who’ll argue til I’m blue in the face that the games far too soft nowadays. You can argue about fouls where people leave a little bit on the man after winning the ball but that was a leg breaker from Colback. Armstrong would’ve been sent off if the referee had the balls to send you down to 9 men at home, he was already on a yellow when he stopped a quick free kick which is a bookable offence.

All sounds great. The thing that impressed me most about Aouchiche today is that it didn't look like it was his debut, looked very very confident to ask for the ball and wanted to make things happen.

Hopefully Rusyn gets the permit sorted for Blackburn and he is in the squad.

Sounds like we will have to wait a bit for 'Timmy' but it sounds like Hume will be challenged to keep his place which can only be a good thing.

The referee had already let QPR away with a few things before Colback jumped in recklessly ...

... I didn't see much protection tbh, if you keep committing fouls you'll be pulled up for it.

You can blame Ainsworth for Colback's stupidity tbh, his 'style' of football always involves winding his teams up to the max. The trouble is the adrenaline always runs out then there's very little left.

I'd hate to have to watch that every week, no offence.
