Great turn around. fair play to the kid he was our best defender. gomez was a joke. just show neto the line and let him off but he was getting too close at the wrong time. matip fitness is non existent. Robertson made up for turning his back on the opening goal shot getting 3 point after the first half is great. but we cannot lose sight of the fact this is a bottom half side thst has to be beaten here. no ifs buts or maybes. The 3 points are in the bank again. vital for this block of 4.
oh and it was painfully obvious the kid was playing the wrong side and he still did the business. it's nice see a lad knock it out of play and take no risks rather than attempt our usual silly stuff.
I can imagine in another life klopp would be sat in his string vest drinking cans at 1pm calling it breakfast tbh.
Best thing about today - Quansah is all ready to play our Europa and early-round cup ties. Gomez looked completely different when we went to 4-4-2: he looked completely isolated in the first half against Neto. Surprised he started Macca, especially in a DM role, after bigging up how shattered he was. As for Robbo - well, apart from the goal, I hope nobody missed that blocking header he did at the back post in the second half. Trent can never do that- Robbo is a propper, propper full-back. And Szobo - well, we did get our £100m+ midfielder, didn't we? At half ****ing price. We play Everton in our next 12.30 slot after an international break: please Jurgen, don't talk us ****ing down before the game - these lads are going out already thinking they're beaten in the first half. And we have enough midfielders and forwards now to save the S American lads until the second half, as you did with them all apart from Macca, whom you pointed out was in the mountains on oxygen just a few days ago - why did you ****ing start him? BIG 3 points that. Phew.

Well those 2 halves were chalk and cheese, incredibly poor for the opening 45 - such basic missed placed passes and getting walked past time and again! Great change of tactics and substitutions and they couldn’t handle us second half. I’m personally loving Salah getting his head up week in week as well, he’s an absolute assist machine!
At least it solves the question of what time we would like to play after int break 13:30 onwards Though not the evening or MNF please lmao
We are now into games coming hard and fast with lots of room to rotate. Eliott's goal, with all due respect to the little porker, was a pure and utter fluke as he's scuffed it wide and it defects off defender and onto post and in. We should be now getting ourselves 2 teams together if we can to have as fresh a prem team as possible while winning all 6 europa games. I'm delighted for quansah.
Well that first half was a horrible horrible watch. What ever klopp thinks about 12:30 he needs to stop talking about it now as I’m sure his thoughts almost subconsciously play on the players minds and almost gives them an excuse before hand! Anyway, second half we looked far better. T even in the first 2/3 minutes we controlled and knocked the ball around a lot better. Not sure if that was us or because wolves seemed to sit back a bit? International break is tricky especielly with South American players but Jota and gakpo seem too similar to me. Neither have huge pace to stretch teams or dribble like diaz nunez do so feel like has to be one of diaz Nunez and one of Jota or gakpo. Salah with 2 more assists. Not getting into goal scoring chances but still contributing when it matters. And Quansah was solid. Matip was bit all over the place first half anyway. Def a contender for Europa league games with no issues based on that
I think we should really get some caffeine tablets into them because it's just not acceptable to be so sleepy every single time.
probably not a great idea though clearly the performance enhancing drug idea still hasn't reached football yet
caffeine is legal. its about the only thing that is legal. they can take as much as they like. the incredibly poor and listless 12:30 performance is a big trend now and thst first 45 was just that.
