got to get the midfield right. AA is useless at CAM and smallbone hasn't impressed me at all.

If we play like we did yesterday it will be an easy Ipswich win.

Unfortunately we will play exactly like we did yesterday because Martin only has one way of playing.

If we concede more than 3 goals again I will be starting to think Martin’s position is untenable already.

Ipswich will be a totally different game to Leicester. We will see a lot more of the ball for a start. It's all about what happens when we lose the ball.

What we know is that there will be lazy tracking back and very little positional sense. So let’s hope we don’t lose it often. Or after 30 seconds.

Gonna be honest, I don’t think Manning can play in a back 4 against anybody half decent. I have been saying since the Norwich game that the guy would get skinned by Bella Emberg.

Just going to put it out there that Phil Jones is a free agent. We desperately need an older head at the back.

Think id take him as manager right now.

I see many people say about AA is plain crap. And he is.

How do we have a manager that sees so much good in him, enough to make him captain (vice).

It blurs my view of RM if he really rates him. Then my view is pretty poor right now anyhow. I was a little disappointed when we went for him, but willing to give it another try. He simply has to learn quick, but he has played this way his entire coaching career by the looks of it, so unsure why he would change now.

Almost every attack, Leicester had equal or more bodies than us that were defending. It is so, so basic, even a ****wit who doesn’t understand the intricacies of coaching like me can see it is a mile off. I’m sure one of the goals came from our goal kick, and Manning was up by the half way line from out own goal kick, and Mcateer came over his side for an easy finish.

Why the **** would our full backs be so high from our own goal kick, is just inviting pressure on ourselves, and every coach has figured it out.

I did think we looked pretty good v Sheff W, but they were also poor. I thought we were very lucky v QPR and Plymouth, and two good sides have torn us to pieces.

I can’t believe we’re talking so much about RM going. 2 games ago it was an absolute love-in on here.

Im concerned, but about as concerned as I was ecstatic when we had our good start.

We will do better, but automatic promotion seems unlikely at this point. I’m concerned that SR are hiring managers who are inflexible and I’m also concerned that the transfer mistakes last year are being repeated.

There were promising signs before; and I still like him as a bloke. But how can any manager with our squad and resources survive conceding 2.67 goals per game?

The last two games haven’t just been bad - they’ve been a catastrophe. He has to show improvement and that he’s learned some lessons on Tuesday. I know it’s insane to sack him but… what option do you have if you concede this many goals?

It's miles too early to be thinking about replacing Martin or treating this game as must win. Boro had 17 points from 17 games last season (putting them outside the relegation zone on goal difference) and still ended up finishing a comfortable 4th. At one stage they were even threatening to get 2nd, until they suffered a poor finish.

Oh, and the side who were below them on goal difference were... Coventry - who joined Boro in the play-offs on the final day.

It is, however, absolutely fair to point out our current issues, and express a desire for Martin to rectify them. These last two games have been a total embarrassment.

From worst club in the football league, to most goals conceded in the football league.
It’s just soul destroying supporting this club. They gave me a bit of optimism for 2 games, and now it’s back to dreading each game. <laugh>

Ipswich have been flying so it’s going to be tough.

Please saints, please Martin. Give us a performance. Even a low scoring draw will be an improvement. Just apply some common sense - full backs being full backs, Charles at DM.

Cancel Tall Paul’s loan, park 9 players in front of Bazanu and one of them will lump the ball away from our goal! Hopefully! It’s been a tough week! Football is supposed to be something to look forward too, come on Russ you can stop the leaky defence, Pleeeeeeeeease, your a nice guy.

    Ipswich Team Talk:
Ipswich Gaffer: "OK lads, try to concede a corner in the first minute of the game. Don't worry about their defenders coming up for the corner, in fact encourage it. They'll go though the ritual posturing of jostling around but they have no determination to actually attack the ball, it'll be easy to welly a clearance up towards the halfway line. We'll have two or three lads there they'll only have one and he's as slow as an arthritic sloth. So,don't bust a gut, just carry on and score past their hapless keeper.

Let them have as much possession as they like, no need to panic, they'll keep fanning around until eventually they gift the ball back to us, so just feel free to score at will. Towards the end I've got a 15 year old nipper to introduce... it'd be good to get him on the scoresheet......Enjoy"

Just read this thread. Omg, definitely not that I disagree but jeez, RM go figure, someone please! This site is pretty sane, level but we really are at a low (& rightly so imo).
