Currently nearly halfway through a Med cruise. So far left Southampton last Saturday and been to Lisbon, Cadiz, Casablanca. Sea day today then Lanzarote in the morning, Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Madeira and Vigo and back to Southampton next Saturday to complete the cruise. Just in time for Cardiff at home. Back 4 weeks then San Francisco for 5 days late October.
Off to Tenerife next week. 11 nights of over indulging in both food n drink. Especially the latter. Unless I am doing an impression of a Border Collie and crawling home its been a poor night as far as I am concerned.
Cheers mate. Thats my usual place. Normally stay in the Cleopatra behind the hard rock. Nowt flash but location is spot on. Staying in Adeje this time but will have a few sessions in Americas and Christianos.
Never done a cruise, but it does seem like a good option when I've browsed some. Is it full of pensioners? Pros/Cons ? I was in Bahamas few years ago (not worth the the money), Paradise Island / Nassau. The place was literally dead apart from when a cruise ship turned up for a few hrs.
Going to Florida to see my dad tomorrow. Haven't seen him in 17 years! Nervous about the drive south tho from Melbourne Airport. Got a rental car so wish me luck lol.
Have to say...it's been brilliant. Loved every second of it...I have a Grand Cherokee Jeep...great fun!
If you've not been before Chitchen Itza is well worth the drive. Get there early though, the number of people coming in as we were leaving was crazy. Take your own shade as well.
It's hard work doing the parks. I was doing 25k steps a day every day for a fortnight. Doing the west coast for my 50th next year. San Francisco, Yosemite, LA, Vegas.
It is hard graft and for all the easy fast food over there I lost half a stone the first time I went. Yes you definitely cover some steps. I used the water park days as my rest days . Sounds like a cracker for next year. Hope its fab.
