Warrior on sky max, just finished the 3rd season next season maybe 2024/5

It's based on the writings of Bruce Lee, San Fran Sisco Chinatown in the 1800s. Rival Tongs against each other, the Irish and the authorities. Lots of naked ladies, fights and bloodshed.... oh there is a plot as well

Started watching Annika on iplayer but had to switch off when she started talking to the camera.

Watched a couple of episodes and that bit is ****ing weird, like doesn't even make sense for the type of show it is. That happens in comedy shows! Was boring anyway and that just made it silly!

I gave up after a couple of episodes as I was like wtf is going on in this haha. Gave it another go and finished it still a weird one.

I watched it to the end and they cleared most of it up by the end, but it was still quite dark and weird for the BBC I thought.

Also didn't understand why a met police officer was back at his old force in Wales acting like he had jurisdiction over them like a fbi in America thing. He would get told to **** off officially with the first day he was poking about surely?
Left it open for another series!

Found myself watching 2 episodes of Columbo on Freevee, both episodes ended with Columbo having nothing but pure circumstantial evidence that any court in the land would throw out laughing.... but these muppets just admit it.

I'd like to see him deal with the 'no comment' ****ing idiots.

Yeah I like the 70s Columbo's but the evidence is nearly always weak as hell. I think the writers put all their effort into the ingenious way the killer pulled it off and didn't have anything left.

This is a fun show, it's a bit of an oversimplification but it's basically American Pie set in the 80s with a bit of Caddyshack thrown in. Nice easygoing stuff with good characters and plenty of fit women.

Started watching The Americans which is about two KGB agents integrating themselves into the American 80's way of life. They start a family and start feeling uneasy about twhat would happen to their kids if they were ever caught. Only 2 episodes in but well worth a watch.

Watched the first one tonight, I don't usually like spy stuff because it can be dry and boring but that was hardly the case. I know Matthew Rhys (Phillip) from Perry Mason he's a top actor. Welsh lad pulling off a flawless American accent.

Gave One Piece a go last night. It's mental, but it's got a really fun Time Bandits vibe.

Apparently the creator (it's a massive Manga thing) kept all the creative control when it came to the Netflix deal, so he vetoed the usual 'current day' ****e we get with these adaptations and even forced them to reshoot chunks of it to get back to his vision, and the word of mouth is fantastic.

Love the Americans, watched it a few years back.

Just finished The Réunion, not bad but subtitles disappeared before reading at times.

Maid is a quality show, tough to watch and frequently stressful because of all the hardships she has to overcome but it's well worth it. Great story of a mum doing everything she can to look after her little girl.
