Actually, it's this rather amateur approach at times on GB News that I like because it makes it authentic. Huw Edwards would have been slicker, and then left the studios to stalk young women behind his family's back
It was amusing, Ubes - I saw it at the time. Floundering barely describes it! It's one thing to be a journalist, quite another to be a presenter. GB News is giving a number of really talented youngsters the chance to start their career, and many are really good. They also have excellent journalists like Camilla Tominey, who was excellent this morning interviewing an ex-Treasury minister who was outlining the amount of fraudulent claims during Covid, and the Treasury's indifference to bringing in proper controls to prevent it. Even before Covid, fraudulent claims re benefits etc was running at £39 billion pa. This sort of stuff enrages honest taxpayers.
Yeah that’s right…..blame the countries downfall on someone doing a days casual labour for a bit of cash in hand, while claiming benefits……meanwhile ****s like Mone are still living the high life after raping the country of billions and still haven’t been brought to justice. Seems the right wing way
Mone will get hers. It's not going away and an incoming Labour government should give you added assurance. And this ex-minister was talking about serious benefit fraud eg £100,000's for claiming for family members that don't exist or for someone that has died, or "single mother" who is actually living with her husband and both working etc. That's fraud however you look at it. In terms of Covid, there were duplicate claims for loans never repaid, claims by companies that weren't operating etc. The checks on these by the Treasury were woeful and the loans are unlikely ever to be repaid
How long do you think the Mone investigation is going to take ? Seems to be dragging on a bit, don’t you think ? It almost as if they are hoping it will be forgotten and the nasty vile bitch will get away with it. Yeah lots of companies, big companies, used COVID as an excuse to make a few quid….they too will never be brought to task. It’s the way it works
Off the top of my head, I should think the current investigation into Mone's related companies will report in the next 6 months or so. Then the wheels of justice will focus on Mone. This is down to police and prosecutor and not government.

Nothing will happen to her, she's one of their own. Much easier to go after Brenda from Whitley bay for not informing on a change of circumstances!!!
She has no friends in the Tory Party. But more important in the Serious Fraud Office. She's high profile, Bob. Everyone's watching it and waiting. If they can lay a glove on her and her husband, they will.
Nothing will happen because it will only expose more people for their incompetence and fraudulent activities. COVID was a massive money maker, mainly for fellow Tories.
