It probably doesn't help that racism is still pretty rife in places like Spain for instance so they are hardly going to go for blood given their own issues. I think Marca were a little more outspoken on the issue because of what happened to Marcelo but pretty mute elsewhere.
It's a disgrace really. One thing Terry/Suarez (alleged)because footballers are pretty stupid, especially in the heat of battle but when you are the head of the world game, you'd expect a little sense. Beggars belief.

Blatter won't go because everyone supporting him are bound up with him.FIFA is self appointed and should be ditched as an organisation. They only survive because national FA's do not have the collective will to ditch them. A case of better the Devil you know I guess. No, Blatter is all powerful. The only way he'll go is if removed by some police body for a serious crime. I think why nobody takes any actions is because everybody else probably has something they want to hide too. Lots of glass houses out there.
Bodies such as FIFA, UEFA, the Olympic committee are in essential private multi-national businesses and FA's and even nations are in reality clients. Therefore no one can enforce independent scrutiny of their dealings. This gives enormous scope for financial and political abuse. That isn't to say that is happening, but I let everyone make their only judgements on human nature of people in positions of power and influence. For instance ask yourself how many altruistic people you bump into yourself in an average day.

I wholeheartedly agree with the arguments against Splatter - unfortunately he has spent considerable time building his support base most it of with the third world football federations. The state of the game is in crisis and is in need some rule changes both on the paddock and off - awarding the 2022 to Qatar for services rendered (back-handers) was a disgrace and a farce; while on the pitch the introduction of goal-line technology is long overdue.
If Mr Splatter & his motley crew continue to plod on regardless I can see a split happening within world soccer: a breakaway movement as what happened with Cricket with the Packer contingent in the 70's. Clearly this was born of frustration at the pace of change and smug complacency in the cricketing establishment - the same air of stagnation and self-serving complacency are present in FIFA today.

Liquidator-- Your appraisal of the man and where he is leading football is spot on! Of course the third world have every reason to stick solidly behind him, but the rest should question his retention! It could be said that we have more in the bank to outbribe the third world, but surely before that happens the uncorruptable states in world football should say "You go..or we go!"
