Wow, what a great result ! Apparently Begovic had a mega game and Boro's new striker missed 4 one on ones with him. Incredible goal from Dozzell, it had to happen some time lol. The ginger Pirlo strikes again , get in. Huge result and great for team spirit !
I was chatting to one of my mate's during the week. He's a Chelsea fan who works at our training ground. His company have the cleaning contract there and also at Spurs. He said Ainsworth is really good and has got a great atmosphere down there and the players are well motivated and grounded. He's told the players to treat the staff as equals, unlike Spurs who's staff get told what and not what they can do around their players.
Wasn't exactly 4 1on1s(2 were offside) however had a storming match. Can't believe I slated that signing! Brilliant scenes at the end, GA had to get Chair and Armstrong to come over as they were still talking tactics to each other. Hope Willock gets a run, still got a great reception from the fans. JCS is a different class shame he can only play 4 games a season, otherwise we have a superb CB
Ainsworth is probably the best coach we could have hired considering the predicament we're in. It's impossible not to like him and his massive positivity and love for the club. If he continues to show better coaching skills along with the great team spirit he's instigated, I'll be more than happy to say I was wrong about him. Very early days, but encouraging signs no doubt.
Out all afternoon but following on the radio. Delighted with the win. I'd prefer to say we're joint 14th on points rather than 17th.
You scholarly chaps and Beth will know that Monty sent a 'personal' message to be read to all troops before the Normandy landings. Fostering a great team spirit across the board can only help breed success. It is just one game, swallows and Spring etc but it's a damn site better than losing! COYRsss!
