I remember SAF saying the club was behind evra or something like that before the FA asked both clubs to keep it in private.

Since then every three or 4 days someone from liverpool has their say in the media about how Suarez is innocent, or they want Evra punished if its baseless, or calling for a swift resolution, or talking to Uruguayan media.....

What part of united arn't saying anything because they've been asked to respect the investigation, while liverpool wont shut up about it don't you understand?

ffs lad are you deliberately not reading the things said by the utd manager in the links or cant you comprehend the words.

And if LFC 'wont shut up about it' post links to prove it.

shall we all wait til the verdict. The 'pool fans will support kenny and suarez and we'll support evra and SAF surprisingly. We'll only know once its all over settled

I'm not sure about the point that you are trying to make. I said that it was highly unlikely that Evra would wait until after the fixture to tell him about any abuse that had happened at least 10 times. After all the same player would make sure that the referee knew that he had been fouled by the same player on more than 1 occassion.

As for Ferguson's comments, he did say that there were lots of things that he could say before he mentioned that he was under an embargo.

What can a referee do on the pitch there and then if someone accuses someone of abusing them verbally? Seems like the only logical explanation for me as to why Evra waited until after the match. I can't think of many times a referee has awarded something because one player said something to another player.

And I have hearly heard a peep from either club since the couple of days after the match to be honest.

The BBC never reported his whole statement at the time, multiple other media outlets did though.

http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/new...-in-charge-at-Old-Trafford-article823585.html

Etc Etc

If your not sure where we're going study the part of his statement in which he has no doubt that Suarez said whatever Evra claimed he did and he said if Evra said it happened it did happen.

Therefore he was 'talking about the case directly'.

While googling some quotes to see if your right (Yes btw) I stumbled upon this gem.

http://forums.liverpoolfc.tv/showthread.php?t=281240&page=3

Some LFC fans actually reported that thing to the FA and got a reply, wonder if there are united counterparts doing the same to all dogleashes/Suarez's comments.

If you read United's forums instead of ours you might stumble upon the little gem your looking for Ivor.

:)

No but I did find these:

Luis Suarez, the Liverpool forward, has risked the wrath of the Football Association by speaking for the first time about the allegation he racially abused Manchester United's Patrice Evra at Anfield last month.

http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...a-race-row-6258613.html?origin=internalSearch

Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has reiterated his desire to have the investigation into alleged racism by Luis Suarez concluded as quickly as possible.

http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...-concluded-6256526.html?origin=internalSearch

Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish wants a quick conclusion to the dispute between Luis Suarez and Patrice Evra. "He is a great ambassador for the football club. For us, as well as his football, the other things he brings to the club are very important as well. He is just a fantastic person as well as a fantastic footballer." "For me, I don't see racism, as far as this football club is concerned, apparent in any way, shape or form.

All those were after the FA asked clubs not to say anything. By my reckoning its SAF 1 LFC 3

4 if you want to count an official statement made by your club as commenting on the matter. Still at least were not pathetic enough to email the FA trying to cause trouble.

If Evra had approached the referee during the match, he would then have been made aware of the situation. He could have called the 2 players together and identified that he was aware and to stop it (he could even have one of Liverpool's Spanish speakers to translate for him). If the referee was made aware then he could keep a close eye (in this case ear) on what was happening. The referee could only take action if he or one of his assistants heared anything. By not making the referee aware then if anything was said of an abusive nature, it can be claimed that Evra colluded in it by not saying anything.

Unfortunately I strongly doubt that the hearing will settle the matter.

Ivor: you've gone from LFC being the only ones breaching the FA's comment ban to admitting both clubs have but the "scores" in uniteds favour: seriously? Read your own post out loud, record it & play it back to yourself: sounds ridiculous doesn't it.

Both clubs are defending their player while veering over the FA's line. It's not a competition & I would expect nothing less from each club. In fact none of this is the competition you think it is: who's more racist, who lies more, who's got the worst character. It's not a continuation of the clubs rivalry on the pitch despite the attempts of some.

One player feels insulted/abused by another player. FA seems to believe at least an element of the accusation. The accused will present a defence & a decision will (hopefully fairly & openly made) either Suarez will walk free or will receive a punishment and then we can get back to football.

Or will you boast how previous united players have had much worse punishments than LFC players & took it like a man or "got away" with more!!!lol

Nice one frank.

<ok>

All you scouse ****s defending your player for no other reason other than he fact his a half decent player who kicks a ball for your club. If this was wayne rooney or ryan giggs you would be all over this you two faced ****s

No suprise, capital of culture hahahahahah most racist city in england

leaving aside what word was or was not used, one thing about this issue that really bugs me is Evra's claim that it was used "at least 10 times". He made that statement to canal+ so it's not speculation.

Now the first time Suarez said the word, it would not be unusual for Evra to think "did he say what I think he said?" The second time or by the latest the third time he would have assured himself. After that a player would have made some comment - even if not a formal complaint - to the refereee. After 10 times then he would have been clearly demonstrating his distress to the referee. However, Evra chose to make no comment to the official until after the match. This just does not stack up.

What do you want him to do, he is a proffessional. Suarez was atempting to get him to react, he didnt, well played to him

Ahhh. Comma; you have something in common with racists, xenophobes & mysogynists.

You take a group of people (in this case Liverpool supporters ) you give them generalised characatures and stereotyped opinions all so it conforms to Your (not united fans in general) your narrow world view.

Well done, you're with such vaulted company....

So, what is the difference between Rooney calling Evra by that name, and Suarez, if Rooney does indeed do? Your answer: Rooney is being 'endearing'.

I'm sure Evra would sooner kiss a frog.

There is no difference at all, therefore, if it transpires that if the nickname is the villain in this saga, ban the entire man u team and make us all ****in' happy!

You tool hahahah, where is the video evidence for "rooney" saying it?? The cameras were at the game, he has been charged, they mus have evidence, end of. Lets see how you lot wriggle out of this
