Tackle, kick. What's the difference to Rooney?

I'm not saying he is guilty as all.

All I'm saying is Evra seems to have basis to complain - even if it is a cultural difference or a misunderstanding that has caused it.

Rewinding back to when Chelsea were done over dodgy transfers. They had their punishment overruled.

united will try to get that ban overturned, I can guarantee it.

It's not in Uniteds interest to get it overturned. We would prefer for Rooney to get a rest over the summer. The FA however are already appealing it.

We don't have a right to appeal. If say Suarez got sent of for Uruguary (sp) then Liverpool have no right of appeal. Only the country can appeal.

Chelsea is club football and England is international football therefore Chelsea can appeal their rulings but United can't appeal rulings on international bans.

Fair enough, but Evra went global with his accusation instead of going through the proper channels and etiquette.

Both players and managers have now had their say, lets see what happens.

Hmm so if he was African descent and someone from Uruguay said "negrito" to this language expert, from the area, it would make him think twice about the intentions.

And since theres no way Suarez meant it endearingly... the only explanation I guess is that he meant it in a racist way.

Assuming that was the word he said, which at no point has he admitted.

So, what is the difference between Rooney calling Evra by that name, and Suarez, if Rooney does indeed do? Your answer: Rooney is being 'endearing'.

I'm sure Evra would sooner kiss a frog.

There is no difference at all, therefore, if it transpires that if the nickname is the villain in this saga, ban the entire man u team and make us all ****in' happy!

As the FA ( not United ) want one of their best players available in the first 3 games for ENGLAND.

Absolutely NOTHING to do with United.

I know some Liverpool fans like consipirciy theories about us but this one is really taking the piss.

Firstly there is a difference. You can say things to your mates and know they wont take offence, but you wouldn't say those things to someone else.

Secondly the idea of Rooney and indeed most of united players with knowing and using an obscure south American term of endearment is ridiculous, even if they do like evra enough to call him "my dear" affectionately.

Thirdly the only source for these claims his team mates call him it is suarez who, having been charged, have to sceptically view his defence of "all the other boys were saying it"

Unlike a certain club in mersyside united have been abiding by the FA's request not to talk about the issue.

They've been snidely leaking stuff to the press instead getting their media hounds to do their dirty work for them and smearing Suarez' name before he's even had a fair hearing.

"Sources at United" in nearly every article mentioning this negrito thing, surprise.

    Post links.

Show me proof Unites, SAF or Evra have said anything since being told not to.

Im sure if "sources at liverpool" claimed he said the N word then you'd just dismiss it as journos making up stuff.

Double standards, hate to see it.

And a Senegalese born French national would also not have known about an obscure south American term of endearment and has possibly taken it out of context.

As for for utd not talking about it.

"There's no doubt in my mind what happened at Anfield with Patrice but it's the FA's responsibility to sort it out," Ferguson said. "We spoke to them a few days ago, they are doing their work and we will leave the matter in their hands. But I'm very surprised that this sort of thing is happening now. I don't know if it's just a coincidence that two cases are going on, let's hope we don't get three, but this is 2011, for goodness sake.

    Alex Ferguson 30th October 2011

So according to Fergie 2 weeks after the event he'd already found Suarez guilty.
