They're at home against a 4th tier team. It's not the same.
He'll also get a ton of ****, quite rightly, if they get knocked out.

And they’ve spent more this summer apparently than we spent in Poch’s entire time with us. So you’d hope they have some good depth <laugh>

131 minutes of Premier League football is worth £45m now?

We should clearly be asking more for Tanganga then...

I hated going out of the CC.

    However:

I think there has been over reaction. We made all those changes but didn't actually lose the 90 minute game. We went out of the cup because we missed a penalty in a shoot out. ( Haaland missed a penalty at the weekend- it happens to top players ).
And the team who we drew with at their place , got a draw at the Emirates ( with 10 men ) at the weekend so they are not a terrible team. If we get a point at Craven Cottage in the league , would we be okay with that?
The **** started when we got drawn away to a premier league team.

Nah. The **** started when Ange made 9 changes to an already newly formed team - and included at least 2, possibly up to 4 players who were (hopefully) unlikely to be at the club a week later! <laugh>
But I admire your positivity <cheers>

Still baffled that Sanchez took the pen. Surely someone else should have put their hand up? Fair play to him for having the balls to do it.

apparently other players all backed out of taking one, and Sanchez was one of the only players to step up and take responsibility. Fair play to him.

These thin lines are what make the difference…we have a Tottenham mentality that suggests…oh well we tried but this n that…a bit like Levy in the transfer market

Haaland did miss a pen…he also scored 1 which contributed to the 2-1 win at PL Sheff United. Last season we messed our lines up at the same ground in the FA cup and got knocked out, they were Championship then.

I don’t think there has been an over reaction…I think we went out with a whimper due to team selection and some fans are sick of it season in season out, instead of micro dissecting why we didn’t win until solace is found.

We are a well established PL club so whatever Fulham are…we should be better. Not necessarily on the pitch for a game but we shouldn’t be acting like we are Harrogate and got hard done by.

we fluffed our lines….Ange deserves support and will get it from us fans but there’s no two ways about it…we showed weakness in our mentality as a club, manager and team the other night and paid the price by getting knocked out of our one realistic chance of silverware and we are not even in September

It baffles everyone else he was even on the pitch.

Then that seriously raises question marks over the 'Refusniks'.
Taking penalties is not an optional occupation as shoot outs are part of the game. Some will take better pens than others and it is the Coach's job to identify a preferred order list. But all 11 players have to accept the responsibility. Remind me how much they get paid again?

Maddison took the 4th. Why not the 3rd?
Hojbjerg, Davies, Royal, even vdV should have been ahead of the hapless Sanchez.

This isn't a dig at Davidson, but he'd had a less than faultless game and even as a willing volunteer he should have been 9th or 10th on the list.

The FA cup can cause fixture congestion of up to 2 games
for a top flight club, before the final is reached.

The League cup can at worst only cause fixture
congestion of one game for a finalist.

Some people are now suggesting a Man Utd at Southampton kit failure.
I think it's bollocks, but anything that prevents us wearing it again is fine by me! <laugh>

Might be an issue if we wear it in games where it's chucking down
