I just find it hilarious thst the subdistrict were boasting they were only looking for elite players then mysteriously start letting it be known they want Joe gomez.

hardly elite

100mil is the price or jog on.

God no. Was good about 3 seasons ago but been awful since then.

When a player is good but gets worse it makes you wonder why. If it isnt an injury, and they're not too old, it's most likely down to motivation, tactics, or confidence. Players don't just lose ability.

I'm in no way saying we should go for Ndidi, but I don't believe good players.go bad for no reason at all. That said, if his confidence or motivation is now shot, I don't want to take on a project if we can get someone who is ready to play now.

maybe average player scan have a good season before going back to previous form?

Looks like Gravenberch is the most likely to arrive.....
Good.

Not alot to read into failing to make it at Bayern. Plenty of young players have gone there and struggled to dislodge the established German players.

He's proved he's a quality player at Ajax, but young so loads of room to improve and learn.
And clearly motivated to get out there and play, rather than just sit on the bench and pick up silverware.

Isn't he similar to AMC in that he can play DM but better as a B2B...?

Honestly, I think that's what we need... we have Endo and then Bajcetic still to come back. AMC can cover (although I'm not a major fan of him playing a DM, feel like he's wasted there).

I'd like a midfielder.who can give AMC, Szob OR Endo a rest depending on who needs it most.

I don't think Mr. P. Should be used to rotate Macca or Dom. Keep him for the front line.

Think totally different. By most accounts defensively he’s pretty poor and his off the ball work needs improving. But on it he’s very good. Seems a bit of a luxury midfielder

His price seems to be around the £20m mark......which could be a bargain. His value can't really depreciate either.
