Had a storming season but with only 12 months left on his contract Boro cashed in and sold him to Spurs where he's hasn't had a look in despite the £20M fee.

So would it be preferable to get him in on a permanent deal then at let's say around the £8-10M mark ?

Personally not a great fan of loans to be honest, unless there is the option to buy as with Harrison.
