Ideally, I think we need a striker even before Adams leaves tbh, as I imagine we'll move on Onuachu 1 way or another.
Just ignore the part where we have said we've not accepted it.

The way I see it, if we can’t “persuade” any of our quality players to stay because of the temptation of EPL, CL football, higher wages, etc I understand the route to sell at “our” deemed right price. Tella now and probably Che & possibly Sula, KWP, etc. The key are replacements or faith in what we have remaining. I think Wilcox has done an o/s job with Charles & hopefully Downes also. Goals remains my biggest fear. 3 games in & it looks like we’re loosing 5 of our open play goals & the other was Bedders. Ok Che might stay but if sold & maybe others above, I just worry we won’t have enough quality firepower. Incomings? Maybe but I just can’t see (this late in the window & lack of options out there) they’ll be of any sufficient quality for what “we” require (target?), which is surely top 6?

There is a lot that is positive but failing to have a decent strike force would make this a deplorable window. This has been an issue for three windows. Three. And now it is getting worse.
I know it's asking way too much, but can we just wait and see what actually happens by the end of 'the window'? It's a lot less stressful, relax, all will be fine.
I've been relaxed all window. We haven't been able to replace any players because they are still here.

Unless they are getting loads of cash upfront for Gray. Has he even agreed to go though? I gather the Saudis are having a slightly tougher time enticing non Muslims to the league. Lukaku is straight up not interested for example. So have to pay them even more. There have been more than I thought who have made the move eventually though
Best I’d come up with was Dennis from Forest but probably not the type of striker we’d want for the Adams role.
Sydney van Hooijdunk seems a good shout too, whether we could tempt him is another issue.
