Come off it.

It was a 60/40 game in our favour. We weren't hard done by but they weren't either.

Yeah, unfortuna

There's a reason he's out on loan.

Kids got everything he needs technically but he needs to get wise to be the player he can be.

being a top player isint just technical ability

its that extra split second decision making thats the difference between a champ player and a top prem one mostly
it allows them that bit extra time on the ball
and they see things play out faster

I agree. If you listen to Burnley fans they'd agree too.

Twine is a genuine asset at this level, but he's far from the finished article.

Finally i decoded Rosenior's style! We play football when we are not winning and when we go ahead we play Catenaccio.

Simples

60/40 using what metrics? I use my eyes, they created far more disquiet in front of our goal than we did in theirs, they always looked looked more likely to score than we did, there's a reason Ingram looks like being voted MOM tonight. We had the possession, according to BBC stats, but we did bugger all with it.

Don’t think Vinagre slots in while the midfield is as unbalanced as it is. Current wide players leave the full backs entirely exposed.

Defensive midfielder should’ve been a priority this summer. More so than even Twine and Philogene imo, even though they are good signings.

People can rattle on about our defensive record under Rosenior but tonight was a fairly typical defensive performance under Rosenior. Some crucial saves by Ingram and some great last-ditch defending by the back four but that is far from what I consider ‘solid’ defensively. We concede way too many chances against us but are bailed out by the keeper and defenders. Any half-decent opposition can completely bypass our midfield to create dangerous chances.

A really good game, I think BCFC should have won it, we had the better, clearer chances over the 90 mins, but we didn’t take them. I’d have taken a point before kick off, so all up not too bad. A good advert for Championship football, shame it wasn’t on Sky
A good game? your expectations are very low, most around me thought it was another boring pass back non game, at this point I could easily **** this off and watch some 4th division triers on my firestick.

9 on target to their 6.

60/40 possession in our favour.

We created better chances. They had more flashes.

Fair enough result though. We'd have been lucky to win but there was no way we deserved to lose it.

So who's the midfielder Liams getting all excited about then?

It's deffo not Bird, and the second winger talk has gone quiet so maybe were lumping on a centre mid?

How do you know its not a no 6?

We didn't deserve to lose and it was a fair result but we were still poor! The 60/40 possession stat is meaningless when it includes 20 passes between Ingram, Greaves, Seri and McLoughlin. We'd be better off having a possession stat which measured yards gained a la US football!. Their 'flashes' caused more bother to us than our 'chances' caused them.

To be honest glp, I’ve lost a life time on football manager :)

I lost relationships cos of it.

Haven't played it since 2007 though.

I daren't have a look at the one with an actual animated match engine.

Bit like a recovering fmaholic.

Probably have a good go one day when I'm in me care home and can do **** all else though.

**** knows. Should’ve been sorted ages ago and long before we fart-arsed about low-balling Derby with bids for Bird before he got injured.

Not sure you can say that about timing.

Domino effect loads most business to the back end of the window. As much will happen this next week as will happen in the last 2 months.

That's the market.

That's your perspective. But I'm sure they'd have preferred our 9 on target to their 6 when their analysts have a go at it in training on Monday.

‘Mid 90’s during the 6 weeks holidays, I did 22 seasons.
I’ve had many an argument with my partner over that “stupid game”.

Yeah, so i stopped playing FM and started carp fishing instead haha.

Thought I needed to get out a bit more.

That didn't do much for the relationships either haha

Flat performance against a bang average side.
Why the **** do we persist with Traore as a winger when he clearly isn’t that.
And I’m getting really pissed off with our non existent midfield. Slater shouldn’t be in there. I would not start such a negative player in home matches.
And why the **** did we sign Lokilo. He was sat in the stands. How is he going to get a game with two wingers coming in?
