Your forwards definitely looked better technically than ours from what I saw, but nowhere else tbh.

I see what you mean and it makes it more frustrating that we couldn’t get the ball to them and decided to spend more time to keep the ball among the defence. I liked how your team were actually positive with the ball. I still stand by the that we have top players but they are being restricted because of the system.

Bloody hell, 6 goals 3 conceded in the two games before this, two wins in a row, but as soon as we drop points it's Rosenior out?
I just think the way we play nullifies our creative players and concedes way too many chances. Last ditch defending stopped that being a very comfortable win for Bristol, we don’t ever look assured. 3/4 games now we’ve looked the worse side on the whole IMO, too many passengers out of possession and not enough in possession to justify this slow, laboured approach.

Yes, and when we went direct we looked less effective.

But that was because we put ourselves under pressure by f*cking about with it at the back. Giving the opposition time to get back in shape. Quick decision making at this level is vital in creating opportunites. Bristol City had 19 shots to our 13. Being the home team, that enough, says it all.

Only positive we didn’t lose.
So slow again really disappointing performance.
Greaves isn’t a left back
McLoughlin was poor tonight
Slater looks lost
Traore isn’t a winger
Twine anonymous
Disappointing

Twine was v.poor tonight, cut inside every single time he had the ball and just walked into either their player or congestion

This. We have some top quality forward players now. It will be a terrible shame if we don’t make the play-offs.

By the way, I’m not panicking yet. We may put it right and we have picked up a decent amount of points so far. I still believe in LR and we will improve. Only time will tell and we can only really truly judge it at half way.

Weird match today, started off v well from what I could tell (tough watch as stream needed restarting a LOT) but they looked dangerous every time they came forward, prob a fair result, Connolly missed a sitter and had a good shot saved near the end, equally Ingram mom for me with some great stops. We struggled against their press today big time, that mf 2 doesn't seem to be quite working atm and lack of a right winger was obvious, unfair to criticise traore as he's out of position. Still, was important not to lose and hope that incoming signings add strength in much needed areas.

I don’t think we were bad per se but Seri and Slater in midfield together is like playing with 9 men when we don’t have the ball.

McLoughlin was poor tonight. He’s a decent back-up centre-half at this level but anyone who thought or still thinks he’s better than Greaves is smoking crack. Greaves has always been the better player and he should be playing centre-half with Vinagre at left-back if he’s fit.

Not quite Rosie out but likes it’s been said, utter persistance with this “system” and not playing to our strengths is going to kill us. Surely we should be putting in more complete performances with the squad we have.

Easy watch. Never had to restart it. But I paid City for it.

Lucky to get a point out of that, we were poor most of the game. Can't help but think we're being over-coached, LR wants us to look like Barcelona or somebody but we're just not good enough, so why not get us playing what we might be good at? We're in the Championship for heavens sake, not Champions League.

Come off it.

It was a 60/40 game in our favour. We weren't hard done by but they weren't either.

Yeah, unfortuna

There's a reason he's out on loan.

Kids got everything he needs technically but he needs to get wise to be the player he can be.

Don’t think Vinagre slots in while the midfield is as unbalanced as it is. Current wide players leave the full backs entirely exposed.
