That's the point he's making though re Saudi stepping it up, Veiga is only 21 years old and very highly rated.

And Neves and Maxi are young enough to have a few more years yet too.

I just don't see it challenging the Prem in the future tbh.

Neves is decent, Maxi is semi decent, neither are anywhere near the best youngest players in the world.
 
Savic also went - 26 (IIRC) - Good player from Lazio.

Still, can't see it denting the PL. What it might eventually do is make FFP disappear.

Not right now but in a few years it's inevitable it's just whether they want to.

Yes FFP would then be scrapped hopefully because nobody will be able to compete.

Hopefully that's the plan.... remove ffp or we will destroy you.

Apparently ASM is on £200k a week there, was on £38k per week wit us. Not bad multiplying your salary by more than 5 times when you're an unwanted misfit.

People can talk about blood money all they want while it relates to other people, but reality is very few will genuinely turn down these kind of offers. It's easy to be all moralistic when you're not the one being offered crazy money, but as soon as that deal lands on their table, most will find it hard to resist the temptation.
