Whether it was ever on the cards or not, don't bank on Kieffer Moore coming back now.................

Normally I’m glass half empty when it comes to City (almost all due to the pathetic football infrastructure at the club) but I’m a tad optimistic we’ll land Keiffer. It’ll be late in the day but I just have a hunch (from where even I’m struggling to know) he’ll be a bluebird again:emoticon-0138-think

Slow and Lankey Solanke is their first choice and Semenyo, ex Wurzel, has pushed himself up the playing order at Bournemouth.

Kieffer is no. 3 choice at present. If Solanke leaves they will probably look to sign a similar player type. Young, tall, athletic and mobile. Kieffer doesn't tick all those boxes.

It will be a game of wait and see with activity unlikely until next week at best.

We are off to Poole on Friday for another week with our daughter and family. As it happens I have a ticket for the Bournemouth v Spurs game so will try to get a feel for the local thoughts. I know Kieffer, despite a mainly super sub role, has been very popular down there.

Your spy in the camp will report back next week with my findings.

Fear not I hope BT will have found a home for my City ST on Saturday.

Don't know what to make of this one. Charlie Wellens, son of Richie, played as a triallist last month. Must have done okay if we are now to sign him.

Says he is a defender but at 1.75 metres not the centre back we need. Right wing back maybe freeing up Ng to go to centre back.

Thoughts peeps?

Keeper Luthra to go out on loan leaving 3 keepers all of whom could be first choice?

Think you could be a keeper BFB pal, something the overweight guy on a bike said! :emoticon-0103-cool: Masky

At Strensham Services, after the Leicester game, I bumped into some Bournemouth fans on their way back from Liverpool. I asked them if they were going to loan us Keiffer Moore and they said we can have him, free of charge. They don't rate him at all.

And it wasn’t that long ago they were playing the likes of Halifax and Rochdale:emoticon-0138-think

Depends who you talk to. They were returning from a 3.1 thumping by 10 men so probably had a downer on most of their players. He was a god there after the goal v Forest to get them promotion. When he mostly gets 15 minutes or so off the bench it is tough to make an impression. My brother in law and his mates want to keep him as he offers a Plan B. If they don't like the Plan B that is another matter.

Bottom line for me he is a good Championship player. The Prem is probably a step too far.

What style is that then - losing?........<laugh>

Join the club Super-Con - we've both got a long way to go to get anything out of this division. <ok>

Losing style<laugh><laugh><laugh> coming from a side that only avoided relegation to the 3rd division because Reading had a points deduction - you couldn't make it up , you are the gift that keeps giving OS!!

I agree though that we both have a long way to go to be in the top half of this division come May!
