Going out tonight for a 24k gold steak. Tomahawk. 600-700 grams. Blue. Not the kind of food I’m supposed to be eating but I’ve been good lately so this is a treat for myself.
Fully support the choice of blue though I’d go rare with a tomahawk. Never had the gold- does it taste of anything? Gold I suppose.
Med rate for me, texture of rare/blue is a strange one(personally) would like to know what the gold adds?
I read up about it. It’s just for show. It has no taste. Pointless, might as well leave it off. I don’t even care about that.
