Oh dear - i remember the game v Leeds back in 2010 in League 1

The worst refeereing performance i had ever seen, and i still aint seen worse to this day.

thoughts?
 
Not that it's relevant but Walton officiated Tottenham's 9-1 victory over Wigan in 2009. Defoe scored 5 goals that day, one of only four players to do so in Premier League history!
 
against Leeds...I remember Fonte being tugged down in the area on a corner but still sticking the ball in the net and then having a foul given against him

Or more likely related to the fact that their team lost!
 
I actually think he is a good ref - he had a bad game v Leeds in 2010. It happens but he isn't a premier league referee for no reason.

Peter Walton's the referee against Brighton?

Bad ref, cheating, time-wasting side...we've lost.

I felt like we'd lost that Leeds game in 2010 after walking out the ground, he was that bad.
 
so how do we think he did today?

very poor for me, even if we got 2 penalties and a sending off which sums it up
 
Thought he had a very poor game
Tried to keep the game flowing that was good but got the penalties badly wrong with three that should have been given declined and the two that were given were outside/fell over
 
we should have had about 5 penalties and the no.22 was a right gobby git right in front of me also moving upwards with the throw ins was never dealt with
 
The foul for the first pen was outside the box - I had one of the best views in the stadium of it, right in line with it. It was at least a yard outside, maybe 2. Poyet will be fuming though! <ok>
