Starting XI same as against Wolves.

Tad worried as the midfield was poor the other day. And I don't think Garnacho should be starting.

    Oh wow. No posts yet?

We are down by 1 by the midfield I feel we have done much better today than last week. We’ve created much clear cut chances in this game than the whole of last week.

Hopefully we can get something out of this game with 15 minutes to play.

We've been pretty poor in the second half, but still hit the post and had a decent chance from Casemiro.

First half was fairly positive. It's gone a bit flat though.

He nèeds to suss out how this midfield three play together.

Mount has played another blinder - the most constructive thing he's done is get subbed.

    Fully deserved win for Spurs.

As has been said, we need Hojlund playing asap, and a number 6 ideally Amrabat. It's clear Ten Hag wants it as he's loathed to bring on McTominay. He is definitely NOT in ETH's plans.

I'll say it now, we'll fck this season up thanks to a £25m signing we didn't make.

Yeah, bound to be Mount's fault.

Mount must look at Fernandes and think, this ****ing idiot is supposed to be captain.

Giving Bruno the captaincy means he plays every game. And he's embarrassingly ****.

He has brought his ****e Chelsea form with him - tell me one positive aspect he has brough to our play (apart from ****ing up our midfield which didn't need fixing)

I hate to say it, but ETH’s setup is downright horrible! There is enough talent in this squad to get a fkin goal in a game. We shouldn’t always talk about lack of striker as an excuse. Case in point, Spurs just lost their record goal scorer and they’ve scored more than we have managed. The setup! Not the striker!!

Eventually, we will have to question the manager’s judgement

There were plenty of chances to score. Chances created, i.e. what the manager's setup is about. The problem is (and has been for the past 12 months) actually taking them. Which believe it or not is what CF's are rather better at than most.

Too many of the squad are off their game at the moment - Bruno, Antony, Rashford, Casemiro and Martinez in particular. Hopefully nothing more than a late summer hangover but all of them are key and need to get their arses in gear

Effectively, you’re saying that we need one man to score all the goals that we need. That argument is flawed because we won’t get more than 30 goals from a striker no matter how great. Is that all we need to win 25 games?

The setup is problematic. It has been for a while for creating and scoring goals. I don’t believe Hojlund is going to change that. The system itself is what needs to change to get the most of a striker. A striker isn’t going to solve our core problems.

We've hardly ever been shy of creating chances under Ten Hag so that's a non-starter.

It's not his fault players are missing sitters. What would you like him to do, run on the pitch and score them himself?

And no I'm not saying a CF scores all the goals, but it's fairly obvious they score more, and others then tend to score more as a result.

    Of course he changes that!

Centre forwards play with their back to goal, they affect the whole dynamic of the way a team plays.

None of the players today do that, none. Rashford was completely anonymous.

He plays with the ball in front of him, centre forward is not his place.

Having an actual number nine will change the way we are attempting to play.

Let’s numb this in the bud! The manager puts the team out, he’s brought in various players, all his choices, btw. So no! The responsibility lies solely at the feet of the manager.

Same rule applied with Ole, why is this any different?
