Good win that. I'd have taken a draw at 3pm.

Great to win but we got away with one there. Thanks to Connolly. Lot of work to do.

We made far too hard work of that and they could have easily snatched another one.

Yeah but they didn’t and that’s six points from two games.

Who was it who thought signing Connolly was a bad move? I think it was more than one poster?

Always seems to be a struggle against 10 men.

We certainly made hard work of it, but credit to Blackburn, who made it very difficult and were good on the break. Don't you just love Aaron Connolly.

Think concerns were more about fitness/availability than ability.

Some heart stopping moments in the second half. Until Connolly came on we really were far too pedestrian - looked like a pre season friendly pace. Their goal gave City the jolt they needed to push on.

They sat deep and countered really well in spells. We've always struggled under rosenior against teams that sit deep. When they had 11 they pressed us and we found spaces.

Great win. We played well but were wasteful with our chances and attacking plays. I like Delap a lot and his hold-up play is good but ****ing hell does he need to learn to look up and make a pass to a teammate in a good position instead of doing everything himself. Seri is a splendid passer and is brilliant for us in possession but out of possession he is very vulnerable to counter-attacks. They had 10 men and still posed a threat on the counter and probably should’ve scored a couple as well. Connolly is a great finisher. If he can keep fit and his head straight, he’ll do well.
